Entire puchase was a painful process. Required features were not installed prior to vehicle delivery. Required paperwork and contracts were given to us piecemeal, out of any logical order, and in a complete mess. Took me 2 hours at home to sort and collate warranty documents and contract paperwork. Dealership did not install/supply required services. WE had to point out the lack of purchased Pulse Brakes and Secure Mark sevices. My wife and I had to make four separate 50 mile round trips from Monument to get all features installed and accessories delivered. Dealer made everything right in the end but we certainly did not enjoy the experience. If I had it to do over, I would have purchased from another dealer in Denver. By the way, I realize there was construction ongoing but, parking at Phil Long Motor City is a dangerous and often frightening adventure. This is the 3rd Hyundai we have owned. Our last Santa Fe was purchased at Watermark Hyundai in Marion Il. I can’t say enough about the prioessionalism of the Illinos dealer or how much we have enjoyed our previous Hyundai vehicles purchases/experiences. Wish this purchase could have been half as good. On a brighter note, we love our new Tucson Hybrid. More
This is a classic bait-and-switch dealership trying to take advantage of people. DO NOT GO HERE. I regret having leased my car through here, but I was in a time crunch as my lease was coming to an end and take advantage of people. DO NOT GO HERE. I regret having leased my car through here, but I was in a time crunch as my lease was coming to an end and I previously had no issues with Hyundai or any other Hyundai dealer (I have leased a Hyundai for the last 6 years). This dealer acts in bad faith, and I should have went elsewhere after having to leave the first time. For a dealer that prides themselves on customer service, they do not have your best interest at heart - only their pocketbook. The salesperson also told me that he does not make commission on his car sales, but only on the surveys - a complete lie! What is the point of saying that except to guilt you into leaving a good survey review? Clearly that is their corporate push so they get incentives from Hyundai corporate. Again, that is a bad faith move. There's a reason people have taken the time to share their negative experiences here - this dealer takes no action to write the wrongs that have been done (publicly responding to people's negative reviews and saying they will do something is as far as it goes). Do your research and lease/buy a car elsewhere. More

had the unfortunate experience of purchasing a car from Phil Long Hyundai of Motor City five and a half months ago, and it has been nothing short of a nightmare. Despite numerous assurances, I have yet to receive the title for the vehicle. From the beginning, they misled me about the status of the paperwork, blaming the delay on the DMV. However, after reaching out to the DMV myself, I discovered that Phil Long Hyundai of Motor City hadn't even submitted the necessary documents. Their incompetence reached new heights when they began requesting a death certificate from me, for an individual I've never even heard of, presumably the previous owner. It's clear they failed to obtain the title due to their own negligence, yet they continue to dodge responsibility. I strongly advise anyone considering purchasing a vehicle to steer clear of this place. Their deceitful and illegal practices and inability to fulfill basic obligations make them entirely untrustworthy. More
I wouldn’t purchase a vehicle from them if they were the last place to buy a vehicle. They are rip offs if you go there to buy a vehicle you better read every word in the contract. They added 3 different warranties and wasn’t told me about them just put the paperwork in front of me to sign you have so many things to sign it would take you a few days to read all of it that’s how they get you. I was told that i would get 2 free windshields a year the salesman lied to me i was charged 1,300 dollars an extended warranty never said a word about the warranty and an anti theft charge also. Went i to complain about the charges they kept giving me the runaround went there 3 times to get my money back that i didn’t get a straight answer from everyone i spoke with always needed something else before i would be able to get some of my money back. Almost 4,000 dollars i spoke to someone who worked there for 12 years and she said that they are the worst dealership on the planet she left them because of the way they ripped off people. So go somewhere else and purchase a car. I asked one of the idiots how many people read every word and he and another idiot said that everyone read the whole contract i why you are lying. I’m reporting them to several agencies. Something needs to be done about them ripping off people. On a scale of one to ten i would give them a negative 1,000,000 More
