On my way down I contact them and they say the car might be sold, but they would let me know. A couple hours later they said to go ahead and come down. When we get they had let someone else is test drive the car. We had to wait until they were done to do our test drive. In the meantime the person that had looked at it in the morning had come back and now wanted to buy it. Bobby then offered that they had a black on black coming in at the end of February. I put a $1000 deposit down to reserve that car. For over a month I text back and forth with Bobby, he was responsive. The first thing they told me that wasn't true was they could take my leased BMW on trade. They also said they would give $30k for my BMW. As the day gets closer to delivery I check with BMW and they will not accept third-party checks. So Bobby says you need to buy your BMW and then trade it in to him. At that point he now tells me he can only give me $27500. I was pretty frazzled at this point, because I still wanted the car. I hear from Bobby that the car has arrived. I make arrangement with BMW to give my leased car back to them. At this point I now don't have a car. We proceed to drive down to the Springs, even though Bobby was put out I was coming down on Friday instead of Saturday. We get there and he's busy which is fine. We finally sit down with him and he's being pretty rude to us. He puts down the numbers sheet I notice immediately the base price of the car is $5000 more than the price listed on their site. I ask him what that was and he says it's a market adjustment. I said I was never told about that. He says yes you were. In none of our communications over the month did he tell me it would be $5000 more than MSRP. I would have never agreed to that. He insists he told me and I signed a paper showing the extra $5000. No way did I sign that, they added it after I left. I tell him either you honor the MSRP or give me my deposit back. Scott the sales manager comes over and I repeat that you honor the MSRP or return deposit. I leave at this point because I'm so mad. I have no car and this dealership is trying to charge me more than the price listed on their site. They didn't want to talk negotiate anything. They asked for the card the deposit was put on to refunded my money. That's fine if they want to charge a market adjustment and it's the fine print, but Bobby never mentioned it to me. I left there with no car and in a panic because I had no car. I called every single Genesis dealer in CO looking for the car I wanted. When I called each one I asked if they were charging over MSRP and none were. I ended up at Genesis of Golden and lucked out with Jose and actually got the car I wanted in a better color. They didn't charge me over MSRP and they were a pleasure to deal with. More
Process was fairly easy, I walked in knowing everything I wanted though. Only problem is the slight of hand on forcing me to take additional car protection I asked to not have because they “can’t take money wanted though. Only problem is the slight of hand on forcing me to take additional car protection I asked to not have because they “can’t take money off of the car”. Forcing the tire and interior protection into the sale which was an unnecessary $1600 additional. More

On Friday April 30th in the morning I sold them a 2017 BMW 3 Series and after we signed all the paperwork to finalize the sale, I was told "oh it's the end of the month so it may take 48 hours to get you BMW 3 Series and after we signed all the paperwork to finalize the sale, I was told "oh it's the end of the month so it may take 48 hours to get you a check, but at the latest it'll be Tuesday May 4th". I thought this was a bit shady, as they took possession of my vehicle but want me to wait to get paid... Wednesday May 5th rolls around, and I call to come pick up the check and I am told " Oh its the end of the month, I'll call and see if the check is ready, they said yesterday it would be ready today or tomorrow. Even though I was told yesterday, the check would be ready TODAY. This is completely unacceptable and I will advise everyone I know to never deal with a Phil Long dealership ever again. Learn to have some integrity. Just as you would never give possession of a car to a consumer unless a loan is approved from a bank or you have a check in hand, expect the same for those selling you their vehicles. How shady is it to have a consumer sign the appropriate documents for YOUR DEALERSHIP to take possession of the car and PAY the consumer, yet afterwards you disclose "oh sorry you have to wait for a check" More

My husband recently had his 2017 Sonata serviced here. The dealership had us drop off the vehicle on Saturday, January 9th. His service advisor, Kevin stated that the car would be looked at on Monday or Tuesday and if it was going to take more than a couple days they would provide a loaner. My husband checked in with Kevin that Wednesday, January 13th. Kevin at that time through text message stated that the car had been driven but “they could not find out the problem”. So we once again waited several days and my husband reached back out. This time he spoke to Chuck on Friday, January 15th. Chuck stated that the car had not even been looked at yet and that no loaner would be provided as “they only have one.” It had sat at their service department nearly a week and not even looked at! To add insult to injury Kevin had blatantly lied to us about it stating it had. Chuck promised the car would be looked at the following Monday. Monday, January 18th came and went without a call. Finally, my husband called them again on Tuesday, January 19th. They told him the problem with the car, quoted him $220 to repair it and said they would let him know when it was ready to be picked up. Finally, today January 23rd the car was ready. My husband went in to pick it up and was shocked to receive a bill of over $500. The $220 they quoted was only labor alone, they obviously did not feel it necessary to accurately and honestly quote the repair cost. If that wasn’t bad enough they had also performed maintenance that was never authorized. At least they showed some basic decency and removed the cost of this. In short, if you want your car to sit in storage at their service department, you want to be lied to about the status of your vehicle, you want to be lied to about the cost of your service, and you want them to do unauthorized maintenance then this is the place for you. However, as none of those things appeal to me as a consumer my husband and I will be making the commute up to Arapahoe Hyundai for all future service needs. More
