We worked with Jason Cortez, who was absolutely wonderful. Over the course of multiple weeks he was prompt and helpful with his text messaging while we worked on making a decision. This is the second vehicle we have purchased from this particular dealership and everyone from the sales people to service to finance to the GM are always so friendly and incredibly helpful. A few weeks ago I went to Phil Long - Chapel Hills to discuss my concerns about my 2022 Hyundai Elantra car/specifically my transmissions. I went into the service center and was first greeted by Virginia discuss my concerns about my 2022 Hyundai Elantra car/specifically my transmissions. I went into the service center and was first greeted by Virginia . I explained my issue and she said that they won’t take a look at my car unless the engine light was on..after me being persistent, she sent Liz She has brown hair that is short and lots of tattoos, she’s at the service desk)my way. I let her and explained the same situation— I’d like a diagnostic check on my car. Short story, she refused to even scan my car for any pending codes or DTC codes because “if the engine light is not on, we will not scan” it was a super dismissive situation. Along with her tone My car is having accelerating issues, it’s super jerky when trying to get up to speed. and roughness and she said she will not look diagnose my car unless there’s a light on. I’ve talked to other mechanics and they said that is incorrect. That left a bad taste in my mouth because when a customer reports something wrong with their car, you should look into it. This is super disappointing because I’ve been going to PL Chapel Hills since 2022 and I’ve had nothing but good service. I definitely won’t be returning and PL Motor City stated they are more than happy to take a look. I also mentioned to the service advisor that I have warranty still on my car and she refused to address that issue (powertrain, etc) the pending issues could potentially cover what’s going on with my car considering that this is a known issue with 2022 Hyundai Elantras and their Transmissions . The absolute worst communication I have ever experienced from a service department. Highly recommend using a different dealership for any level of service in the future. Purchased vehicle 3 weeks ago. The car still has not been detailed or serviced as promised on the sale. Sales process was fine. Fair price was agreed-upon with written promises The car still has not been detailed or serviced as promised on the sale. Sales process was fine. Fair price was agreed-upon with written promises that the dealer would take care of tires, as I explicitly mentioned, I was buying this car for winter driving and needed tires that were capable of driving in snow. Delivery and follow up processes leave a lot to be desired. The only stipulations and promises to the sale were that the dealer would replace four tires, and repair a wheel that was known to be bent the day of the sale. The tires, which should’ve only taken a few days, took several weeks to get in. During this time I had to repeatedly check in for updates, as no one was letting me know what was going on. After 2 weeks, tires arrived, I was told that the bent wheel would be another week for repair. Assuming that the wheel did not get sent out during the two week waiting Period for some reason. During this time, I’ve been driving the vehicle on the spare Wheel and tire. I was reasonably frustrated at progress, and was told that Drew, the "we owe" manager would reach out, they never did. My wife and I called several times with no call back. Andy, the service manager, promised to take care of it over a week ago and now will not respond to calls or messages. Still waiting for someone to reach out and give me an explanation. Complete Lack of communication And follow up. Would never purchase anything from this company again with this kind of treatment. More
