I bought a ford fiesta 2012. Overall I am very happy with the vehicle and the customer service I received and continue to receive at this dealership. Joshua Dorsey (sales consultant), Kyle Lyon (finance mana the vehicle and the customer service I received and continue to receive at this dealership. Joshua Dorsey (sales consultant), Kyle Lyon (finance manager) and Michael Boersma (e-commerce manager) made the process very easy and not stressful at all. Together they make an excellent team More
We have been customers of Jeff Bentley's for close to 3 years now and just went to see him to end a lease and buy a new Ford Escape at Phil Long Ford in Motorcity. My husband, Mike, and I were able to get years now and just went to see him to end a lease and buy a new Ford Escape at Phil Long Ford in Motorcity. My husband, Mike, and I were able to get the price we wanted and were please with how we were treated. I LOVE my new car and his service with a smile is EXCEPTIONAL when it comes to car salesmen. He asked what kind of car I wanted and he was able to deliver a brand new Escape with the exact features I was looking for. He and Kyle worked as fast as they could to get the paperwork through and answered any questions we had. I even stopped by this evening andJeff and Ashley were so friendly and helped me Sync up my new iphone. Thanks guys! We will be back, you can count on it! I might even have to take them all some brownies! :) More
My boyfriend recommended Phil Long because he'd gottne his last few cars from them. He called ahead and made an appointment but we got there earlier than planned and were told the salesman we were suppose his last few cars from them. He called ahead and made an appointment but we got there earlier than planned and were told the salesman we were supposed to meet (Tom) was busy and we'd be working with his partner (Kyle) instead. We didn't have a problem with that cause we were early. I will say Kyle seemed very friendly and seemed to want to help me get into the vehicle I wanted. At this point, I'll say I was looking for a specific vehicle because I have a special needs child. I was also on a very tight budget and didn't have that great of credit. Before I even went to the dealership, I went onto their website and looked up vehicles about 2,000 below my budget (because of sales taxes and what not) and found a few I liked. I waited to see what Kyle would bring out before I gave thme my list. I told him I needed to keep my payments around 250 and he said 'no problem'. Then he brings out a van thats only 4 years old. I'm thinking "this is great"... then he tells me the mileage is 98,000!!!! I was immediately turned off but he still talked me into test driving it. He asked me what I thought and I listed some problems. I then asked if we could see some more and it seemed like he was 'politely' making excuses on why there weren't many other vans to see. I asked if he had a list to look at and he said no but we could just drive around. We checked out 2 of their other parking lots and one vehicle he showed me was a wagon. Not even close to being big enough. I then brought up my list and asked him about 2 specific cars. He said one was just sold and the other one was at their "north" store. I asked if we could still see it and he said 'thats a lot of paperwork, we'd have to tell them we've already sold it to you and if you decid not to buy it then we will be stuck with it'. Its funny about the van I wanted being 'sold'..I went online 2 days after that and yes one of those models were gone...but the one I told him about was still there. After all that, they told me I would get approved for the first van and I could go ahead and take it home that night while we were waitig on financial approval. I had the van from saturday night until wednesday afternoon. They approved me alright. For only 48 months and my payments without warrenty or gap would have been over $400!! Seriously? Doesn't even come close to $250. I told them No and it was too much over my budget. They at first told me that was my only option. So much for helping me. Then when they saw I was thinking about leaving they showed me another van that was the same year but less mileage. They wanted even MORE for that one. When I said No to that one as well they said they'd see what they could do. For me not having any more options, they found they could get $1000 more from my trade-in. I'm sure what they meant was they couldn't find any options that would suit them. They had nerve to ask if my boyfriend would help 'loan' me monthly payments. They even tried to push me getting a co-signer EVEN AFTER I TOLD THEM ABSOLUTELY NO CO-SIGNERS!!!! I was very serious when I said I wanted to get the vehicle myself with no help from friends and family. I was ready to get up and leave when, surprise surprise, they found yet another vehicle for me. That one didn't work well for me either and Scott had the audacity to tell me that "you got yourself into this situation on your credit, you can't afford to be picky, and you should be grateful for what we are offering you... take it or leave it." I told him to shove his offer and bring me back my van. Earlier that day Tom came up to Kyle and asked him something and didn't even acknowledge the fact he knew me. That was one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever dealt with. Tom and Scott didn't give a dang about my budget and didn't care about me as a person. Kyle was very friendly...but didn't take the time to actually LOOK for the right van for me. Needless to say, I will never even consider going back to them and my boyfriend will never shop from them again. He's letting everyone of his contacts know to never go there again. What a shame. More
I am giving this rating because of the following reason: I am giving this rating because of the following reason: 1.) Tom Griffen not even saying hi to me when he was the one who started the paperwork 2.) I am giving this rating because of the following reason: 1.) Tom Griffen not even saying hi to me when he was the one who started the paperwork 2.) The sales person was not even able to sit at the table when the dealer gave the finall offer 3.) The amount of preasure the car sales man was putting on me to by van that was out of my price range. i even told him multiple of times that I cannot afford it. 4.) For a company that has 21 lots to choose from they can only give me three options which none of them were even with in budget. 5.) they let drive a van home on saturday the01/28/2012 and I had ispection that cost a 100 dollars to have completed. We found out that the shocks, strouts, windowsheild wipers we all were needing to be replaced they were unable to come up with a deal to fix it. Then after we told the sales that we were not interesting in doing bussiness them they came up with another idea and that did not even work. THis when the scott the sales man came over and told us that the we only had 2 options wheich wer both out do to the budget. Scott was ruied and more pushy than any of the other sales people that we had to deal with. It was also funny that then looking at numbers on saturday they were only willing to give 2500 for the trade in and saying that was all they can do. However all of sudden today they were able to up the value of the trade in to 3500 but yet the the price a month was going to go up( this is bank issue I know but still it seems to me that if these car sales people wanted to make deal they still had room to work with). Also the car sales person had the nerve to ask me if my boyfriend would helpme with 50 dollars a month until he move in with you. Eventhough he knew that I was doing the car deal on my own. More

Both deals were set either by email Two different times we struck a deal with Kyle at Phil Long over a 2001 Honda Odyssey he said they had in stock. Both deals were set either by email or telephone. The first time, we had a deal on the Honda only to be informed the day we had set to travel 45 miles to the dealership that Kyle's sister dealership had an offer on the table by a church group pending the pastors approval. After telling Kyle how much we were disappointed, Kyle replyed he'd let us know if the deal did not go through. Needless to say, Kyle never got back to us. The second time involved the same Honda Odssey. After waiting more than a week, we noticed the same van was still on Phil Long's advertisment list. Upon sending an email to Kyle requesting te status of the 2001 Honda Odyssey, Kyle again stated the vehicle was available. After re-negotiating another price via emails, we struck a deal again. We contacted Kyle and actually set up a time that day to purchase the vehicle, Kyle responded he'd wash and fuel the vehicle up for us prior to our arrival. After sending Kyle an email to confrim that we could make it up to the dealership a little earlier than we had planned, Kyle called back only to inform us again that someone else was looking at the vehicle with the intent to buy and wanted to "catch us" before we left. We told him we were done with him after two times with the same excuse. Today 4/18/11 we tried to connect with either the sells manager or the general manager which got us no reply other than another sellsman who wanted to take care of the matter himself. At least we never exchanged money with this group. With that said, unless you want to get the royal run around like we did, stay away from Phil Long dealerships in Colorado!! More

NO wiggle room what so ever, and I did not want to sit there for hours upon hours negotiating a price that wasn't going to budge. They also valued my trade way lower than any other dealership in town. They may be a no pressure dealership, but they still have the stubborn pricing and sole interest in gain, nickle and dime everything. I did a lot of research about phil long ford before I went in, and most was good, and on the dealerships website they have claims of helping out every situation, but obviously it wasn't true. I would not recommend phil long ford unless you feel like spending alot of money that isn't necessary. Thank you to Tom and Kyle who took the time and try to help me, you were very nice. But hopefully others will not go to this dealership. More
Our salesman Tom, worked very hard to find us the vehicle that we were looking for. We had chosen a 2011 Ford Explorer which at the time, was very hard to find. Tom searched dealer inventories all over the that we were looking for. We had chosen a 2011 Ford Explorer which at the time, was very hard to find. Tom searched dealer inventories all over the state of Colorado to find our car. Mike, the sales manager then worked with the other dealer to complete the trade for our vehicle. When the car arrived, the customer relations manager Ashley, explained the operation of all of the features of the vehicle expertly and completely. This was by far, the best car buying experience we have ever had. More
