My wife and I pulled into the lot just to look at the 2011 F150 Platnium Series Economic-Boost trucks because my wife evaluates them at work. After looking at the verynhigh price (beautiful truck though) we drove around to the other side of the lot looking for a Raptor (another vehicle that she evaluates) just to see one in person. While leaving the lot, Steve Johnson strolled up and asked if there was anything that we needed. I told him that I had never really considered owning a Ford, in fact, I hated Fords, but they really looked nice and I was impressed with what they were doing with them in the last ten years. He mentioned that he had a used 2004 Supercrew that was in great shape and asked if I would like to take a look at it. I'm driving that truck now! What I really appreciate about Steve's professionalism is I told him what I was looking for, and EXACTLY how much I could afford. Not once did Steve attempt to upsell me or try to pursuade me to buy a bigger better deal. He showed me what I wanted and found it dor the price that I needed to pay. Daniel Price (Finance Manager) brought a couple of offers to the table above what I wanted to pay, and after telling him that I was not flexible at all on a monthly payment basis, he went out of his way to make it happen. I also felt like I was not pushed into any deal as well (as a salesman of sorts myself, I can appreciate that) and it is easy to tell a BS'r when you ar pretty good at it yourself. Dan never treated me like a sale, he treated me like I was someone he wanted to know. I will definitely return to Phil Long Ford and will recommend them to others as well! More

I did personally interact with Todd Hoskins, Sales Manager, Daniel McFadden, Sales Consultant who assisted with the new truck advanced electronics all voice activated phone and navagation systems, Patrick Cronkhite, Finance, who assisted in the final deal structure, and Jared Kennedy who addressed a minor service issue with the new Ford F-150. Steve Johnson is a consumate sales professional and he has a very talented sales, finance and service team standing behind him to deliver the most positive experience for the consumer when you choose to visit Phil Long Ford, Littleton, Colorado for your new car needs. I had a great experience. Everyone was friendly and courteous. The whole process seemed to move along at a good pace. They had a nice selection of trucks to choose from. The repair department was my worst experience. In my opinion they clearly do not understand the vehicles they are working on. I brought in my truck with a specific problem, with specific symptoms. Their opinion they clearly do not understand the vehicles they are working on. I brought in my truck with a specific problem, with specific symptoms. Their all knowing computer said it was one injector and a sensor. I specifically asked the mechanic that if I gave them the $1400 they were asking for to replace two small parts, would it be running good. He replied, yes it would be running pretty good. I picked up the truck after they said the problem was fixed. The truck had the exact same symptoms and the exact same problem. They hooked the truck back up to the same computer and now it was three different injectors and a wiring harness. They refused to stand behind their work and now want more money to fix the same problem and they still will not guarantee this will fix it. In my car repair experience I believe they are chasing an electrical problem that they don't understand. Instead they want me to throw money at them so they can throw parts at it. Furthermore, I reported them to the BBB to try and resolve this and they responded with a complete lie. I feel that the employees at Phil Long are untrustworthy, under skilled, and are only out to make money off of people. Finally the people I've dealt with in the sales department have little technical knowledge of the vehicles they're trying to sell. I've only experienced high pressure sales tactics and on a test drive, the sales guy crashed one new truck into the one parked next to it. So two poor people are going to buy a "new" damaged truck. Plus I've found cheaper new cars at other local dealers. The parts department couldn't even find a bolt I needed and their prices are very high. I have found that I can get it cheaper and quicker elsewhere. I've had horrible experiences in every department I've been in. Obviously I will never spend another penny here. More
Do yourself a favor and go here first. After wasting Saturday's for a few weekends in a row looking at the "other places", we went into Phil Long one evening after work. Purchased our vehicle right then and there, out of there within a couple hours after making our decision. Professional and honest staff. Prices as advertised, not hidden upcharges or additional fees like we experienced at "other local Ford dealership". No surprises. It was a pleasure doing business at Phil Long. This dealership will be at the top of our list next time we're vehicle shopping. More
