I actually purchased the wrong Flex last week and went back for the right one a day later. The process was quick and I am so happy about my new Flex! I turned in my other Flex I purchased from here a few years back and drove away with my dream Flex. Sylas was awesome! He is newer to Phil Long and he is doing a great job! When we came back the 2nd day I could tell he had a long day he just seemed tired but it never took away from what he did for us and he had another customer in between us! Sylas is nice and answered all our questions and if we go back for my husbands truck we will ask for him! We also had Patrick in financing twice that week, very nice doesn't seem too pushy on any extra warranty stuff which is my least favorite part of buying a car because they push so much that doesn't actually help you in the long run and Patrick sold us things we could actually use! Sold my vehicle to Phil Long I submitted a KBB request to get a value for my vehicle. Several folks contacted me, one being Phil Long Ford. After a few responses from KBB authoriz I submitted a KBB request to get a value for my vehicle. Several folks contacted me, one being Phil Long Ford. After a few responses from KBB authorized dealers, I was disappointed at the value being placed on my vehicle, 09 Ram 2500 Hemi. I started communicating via email with Robert McMann from PLF and he was a bit surprised and said KBB seemed to have the wrong vehicle info and from what I gave him, he placed it at 7-10K. He said he would personally appraise it when I brought it in. I finally was able to do that, met Robert and went for a drive. We talked a bit and he offered 7,500. I though that was fair and took it. I later found out Robert was the GM!!!!! Very polite and personal, taking the time out of a Saturday morning to deal with a used vehicle. - WOW! That is customer service. He turned me over to Walter Banks who completed the necessary paperwork. Walter has been in the business 40yrs, and was also polite, personal and great to work with. Both Robert and Walter made the whole experience very enjoyable. I would definitely give PLF consideration for any vehicle purchase in the future. More

When I went to test drive I explained up front that I would not be buying that day and he was not pushy, he just said "no worries, which ones do you want to drive today?" I am also fairly young and at no point was he skeptical that I was just out for a joy ride. Even when I was flooring it on the highway he understood that I was just weighing the vehicle's capabilities as a high altitude/steep grade machine. He worked with me on price and got me to a place I was comfortable, and then handled all the rebates with no work on my part. I also met briefly with the service guys when I bought the truck because I wanted to know about documenting my own oil changes for warranty purposes, and they were very cool and explained a bunch of stuff very straightforwardly and talked a bit of shop about how cool these new trucks are. Great experience overall! More
