This has seriously got to be the worst dealership we've ever dealt with. We stood outside looking at vehicles for quite some time until we finally went in to ask for help. This was the middle of the day ever dealt with. We stood outside looking at vehicles for quite some time until we finally went in to ask for help. This was the middle of the day on a Wednesday, they weren't exactly busy. In the short conversation we had with both John (Sales Manager) and Jim (Salesman) it was very obvious that we weren't not going to be buying a car from them. Not only were they unable to answer several basic questions about the car we were interested in, they also were not clearly in any type of negotiation on the price. In addition, it was very obvious that there was some sort of tension between both John and Jim which made matters even more uncomfortable. The bottom line is, take your business elsewhere!! These people are not interested in selling cars at a fair price in a professional manner. They are interested in ripping people off with substandard customer service. More
Although we made a purchase from your dealership it was not a pleasant experience. Initially the contact with Steve Hill via email and telephone was good and he provided us with the information we requeste not a pleasant experience. Initially the contact with Steve Hill via email and telephone was good and he provided us with the information we requested except when I wanted to talk price " you need to see the truck and make sure it’s the vehicle for you" also he told us that there was wiggle room on the purchase price ( You had two prices listed on the internet the one on your website was $1000 more than on Auto trader so before we drove 10 hours (600 miles ) we wanted to confirm a price this was not given to us except being told wiggle room on the price. The actual sales experience was one of the worst double team experiences I have had and I have purchased several cars. Steve Hill was soft spoken and helpful but you other sales Manager Dan (The Shark) Freeman was slimy and slight of a hand he was a slick used car salesman who in my opinion used every cliché from the used car salesman handbook! When we made a counter offer he went away and prepared papers that reflected his initial offer he did not verbalize the amount but used “slight of hand” tactics to distract from the price and focus my attention on the reduced registration costs when I realized that the price listed on his paper was incorrect and I bought it to his attention he got very ugly and ripped the paper and thrust our registration paperwork at us and said he was unable to do business with us. At this point we were disgusted with his dishonest dealing and we were ready to leave and find a vehicle elsewhere. After a few minutes Dan (the shark) Freeman followed us outside and said that he agreed to our offer. We really liked the truck and decided that we would proceed with the sale. However, we were now aware that we needed to be careful with the financials and your finance man John was very pleasant and did not mind going over the figures on the contract. A few days after we returned home we received a new set of contracts via fed ex as the name on the contract we signed was incorrect. More
I am so disappointed in Pete Moore Volkswagen in Pensacola, FL... As a long time resident of this part of the Gulf Coast as well as a 3-time VW owner - I really suggest going to Mobile or maybe Tal Pensacola, FL... As a long time resident of this part of the Gulf Coast as well as a 3-time VW owner - I really suggest going to Mobile or maybe Tallahassee if you want good service & prices. (The Ft Walton Beach VW dealership is pretty heinous, too.) My main complaint is them quoting me, after 7 or 8 phone calls, a general ballpark figure for my newer, excellent condition trade-in, then getting out there (almost 46 miles roundtrip) to find they never did any research on my trade-in, never made any calls or looked at any figures. They basically blew smoke up my a** just to get me out there to say "Oops - looks like we can offer you $3,000 less than we quoted you." Then to bring the manager over who called me 'sweetheart' and beat around the bush with, "Well what if we COULD get you what we quoted you?" and "What were your payments on the trade-in?" As well as all sorts of other tomfoolery... If they quoted me a price and I'd been working with their salesman for over a week and they knew the trade-in was the only roadblock to buying their vehicle why mess around? Why waste my time? And WHY on God's green Earth would they use terms like 'sweetheart' to an independent female client who is trying to make a business deal with them?? All around bad experience and will NEVER go back to Pete Moore. Women who don't want to be treated like idiots or spoken down to I REALLY suggest avoiding this dealership! More
