My wife and I were looking to purchase a nice used vehicle and our first stop was at Pete Moore Volkswagen in Pensacola Florida. Our plan was to shop a couple of different car lots and then go back and make a decision. Things did not go that way because when we entered the car lot at Pete Moore, we were greeted by Mark. Mark come across in a very professional manner in which means a ton to the both of us. We arrived around 9:20 am that morning and Mark showed us various vehicles that we wanted to see. We gave him our budget and not one time did he try to get us into anything above our budget. He was never pushy and was never thinking of himself and "JUST A SALE". The friendliness alone from Mark made my wife and I comfortable saying to ourselves "this is where we will spend our money". Mark was extremely patient throughout the entire experience. Because of Mark, at 12:20 pm, we drove off the lot with the vehicle of our choice. Without the commitment of the sales rep's I could not have gotten the great price I got and or may even have not purchased the vehicle. I had driven an hour to get to Pete Moore Volkswagen and did not realize until after I had got there that my check from the bank was back at home, not only did the sales rep's promise to do their best to come up with a plan to resolve the issue but ended up driving the vehicle to my home an hour away after hours and deliver the vehicle in exchange for the check I had forgotten. I never imagined getting such care from any dealership ever but Pete Moore Employees Jeff Goff and Jason McArthur have gone above and beyond to make the purchase of my vehicle smooth but most importantly possible, making the hour trip back would have been difficult to manage with my work hours. Hi, I'm Ron Singleton, I joined the Navy in 1976 and started buying cars with my first Z28 1978 at Pete Moore. I Had a new Z28 every other year after that until 1986 when I was stationed in Japan. I bought used cars in Japan then came back to US Corry Station in 1991 when I bought a new 1992 RS from Pete Moore. This was my last New car. I went to Spain 1993 and came back to US in 1997 when I bought a used Saturn from Saturn dealership. In 1999 I traded to a Toyota and purchased a second Toyota in 2001. In 2004 I bought a 2002 Mitsubushi from Darrel at Pete Moore Imports. In 2006 I bought a Volkswagon Jetta from Pete Moore. in 2009 I bought a 2008 Nissan from Pete Moore. I just recently bought a 2007 Suzuki from Scott at Pete Moore. So in the last 30 years I have probably owned about 15 cars state-side and have purchased most from Pete Moore dealership. In that time I have only remembered three names Pete Moore, Darrel and Scott. All the other sales people I have forgotten. I think this says a lot for their personality and my perception of the way I was treated at Pete Moore dealership. Like most customers I am out for the best deal I can find but I know I will consider Pete Moore dealership fist as long as they have sales people like Darrel (no longer with the dealership) and Scott to give customers like me the perception that they are doing their best for "my deal". I did a lot of research about the car buying process (since I have been duped at OTHER dealerships) and went in with all the info about how much profit the dealer would make, etc. The first offer they gave me was fair to both of us, and I was able to talk them down a touch from that. It's nice to know that even with no preparation they would have given me a good deal. More
