After doing a little homework I knew I wanted a Volkswagen, a CC to be exact. I bought a Diamante from Pete Moore about 16 years ago and the experience was great then so when I saw they were the V Volkswagen, a CC to be exact. JR was my salesman and as far as 'car buying' goes, my whole experience couldn't have been better. I told him what I was looking for and what I was looking to spend and didnt' have alot of 'haggle' time because I had my 10 month old son with me. JR was very considerate of that fact and was very helpful. I'd also like to give a big high five to Kim in finance. I went there with my baby and without my husband and never once felt intimidated, everyone was knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. I HIGHLY recommend to anyone if they are looking for an automobile, VW or not, go see JR at Pete Moore. I love my 2009 CC!! I can't say enough great things about this dealership. I visited Pete Moore after visiting and being turned down at at a few other dealerships. My salesman Jim Pankuch was awesome though and determined to get me not only in a car, but an excellent car. He worked his magic, along with the finance team and not only got me approved for a car, but for my "first choice", ideal car, which was a Volkswagon Jetta loaded. My wife, Sammie, has been wanting to buy a small convertible--a fun car. We considered a Miata, but concluded that it was too small for our purposes. She favored the VW Beetle, but it had to be re convertible--a fun car. We considered a Miata, but concluded that it was too small for our purposes. We shopped our local VW dealership first, but we got the impression that even if they could find the right red convertible, they were not really interested in taking Sammie's 2003 Acura TL (one owner, really clean, less than 44,000 miles) in trade. Next we went to Pete Moore VW in Pensacola, and got hooked up with Buck Lee. He showed us a new 2013 red 2.5L beetle convertible equipped with everything Sammie wanted. We took it for a test drive (top up/top down) and Buck bravely explained all the controls and features from the back seat. He also let us test drive a 2.0 Turbo for a comparison, as I had been thinking that was the way to go. We concluded that if a suitable deal could be reached with the Acura trade-in, we'd go with the 2.5L. After a very short, straightforward negotiation, Buck shook our hands on what we considered a really fair deal , both for us and for the dealership. At no time did we ever feel pressured or rushed, and Buck did a good job of acquainting us with all the features and controls of the car. He was patient, understanding, and we were very comfortable with him even though we are old enough to be his great grandparents. We think he is a real asset to the dealership. Once the deal was struck, all hands quickly and thoroughly prepared the car and the necessary paperwork. All the employees we met were friendly, courteous, and efficient, and we drove home in Sammie's new red Beetle. Our only regrets involved leaving behind our much loved and faithful old Acura. (We both tend to get emotionally attached to most of our cars--I can only imagine the degree of attachment that is likely with our new Beetle convertible.) We would recommend Pete Moore VW to anyone. An overall excellent experience. Mark worked with me on even the most minute problems/ details and is extending the assistance beyond the sale. As for the 4/5 stars on pricing, I don't think anyone is ever comfortable finalizing, but again I was able to work painlessly with Mark and Danny to find a figure that worked for both parties. Aaron handled the final portion of the sale professionally and had an extensive knowledge of the whole process and was very helpful throughout. More
