This was my very first car buying experience and I was very nervous. I contacted the internet sales associate for Perry Mazda/ Ford, and began to ask questions about the car I was interested in. the inter very nervous. I contacted the internet sales associate for Perry Mazda/ Ford, and began to ask questions about the car I was interested in. the internet sales associate was very helpful, and after our discussion quoted me a great deal! I then drove down the next day to buy the car, and was able to continue working with the same Sales associate, which made me feel very comfortable. We went on a test drive, and he was very patient allowing me to really decide if I wanted to commit to the car. Then when we began to discuss financing and what my final price options were, he came back with an even better deal than what he offered to me over the phone the day before. There was not a single moment where I felt pushed or that my time was being wasted. Even the financial officer was kind when we decided not to include any extra packages. Over all, it was the best first car buying experience I could have asked for. I was able to stay in my budget and get the car I wanted!! More
I’m a very price-sensitive person and was imagining that I was going to have to go to Los Angeles to find the best deal. But before heading south I did price research on the vehicle I wanted and contacted I was going to have to go to Los Angeles to find the best deal. But before heading south I did price research on the vehicle I wanted and contacted the internet department at Perry Ford. The vehicle I wanted was not on anyone’s lot and had to be special ordered from the factory. I’ve always heard that the best deal is in buying what is already on the lot . . . and this may be true. But in any case I finally came to an acceptable price on my special order . . . it took a little bit of negotiating, but I definitely felt the price was fair. I think the initial internet and emailing was fine, but things went much smoother when I went in face-to-face to work out the price. My sales person was Roberto Sanchez and I have to rate him a 10 out of 10. He was excellent and seems to be a genuinely nice person, as were other sales people there when he wasn’t available. The guy who does the final contracts is a bit intimidating, so go slow when reviewing your paperwork to make sure all the numbers are correct. The bottom line is that I got a very fair price and didn't have to drive to LA. More

I purchased my Ford Flex from Mr. Sanchez at Perry Ford and was very pleased with the deal I got. In addition, he took the time to initially set me up with the sync system and blue tooth. I found him to be and was very pleased with the deal I got. In addition, he took the time to initially set me up with the sync system and blue tooth. I found him to be both professional and courtiouse. Gary More

When I first bought my Mazda in 2007 (not from Perry Mazda), I had taken it in to Perry Mazda for the car's first oil change. I had a pretty poor experience (horrible customer service from the service d Mazda), I had taken it in to Perry Mazda for the car's first oil change. I had a pretty poor experience (horrible customer service from the service department). I'm not going to go into specifics, but I decided that I'd never go back there for any kind of service based on how poorly I was treated for the oil change. Three years later I start getting letters in the mail about this recall on my vehicle. The recall had to be taken care of at a Mazda dealership, so I was faced with the dilemma of whether or not I wanted to go back and deal with Perry Mazda again. The next Mazda dealership is over an hour away, so I decided to go back to Perry Mazda, with the hopes that my second experience with the dealership would be much better than the first. That was DEFINITELY NOT the case. I made my first call to Perry Mazda's service line several months ago to make an appointment for service on a recall on my car. I was told by the man who answered the phone that he was unable to make recall appointments and that I'd need to speak with a specialist (not the exact word he used, but something along those lines) who would be able to make the appointment for me. After several failed attempts at being connected to the specialist's line (the phone just rang and rang and finally returned to the original guy who had answered the phone), I asked to leave a voicemail for the specialist. I left a voicemail that day and never received a call back. A few weeks later, I called the service line at Perry Mazda for a second time and again got the same guy who had answered the phone on my first call. The guy has a distinct voice, and I remembered his voice from my first call. I, again, was transferred to the specialist who was supposedly the only person who could make my appointment for me. I left another voicemail which was never returned. A few weeks later I called for a third time and again got the same guy on the line who attempted to transfer me to the same specialist, however this time I stopped him and explained that I had tried leaving a message twice before and never received a call back. I explained that I needed to speak to someone right then and that I did not want to be put through to anyone's voicemail. I was then put on hold as the guy apparently went to look for someone for me to speak with. After ten minutes (yes, really, ten long minutes) of being on hold I hung up. Fed up with even attempting to call Perry Mazda back, I called Mazda Corporate. I explained the situation to Mike and he offered to call the dealership for me to see what was going on. Mike (Mazda Corporate) was able to get a hold of some kind of manager or technician at the dealership who said he was with a customer, but committed to calling me back as soon as he was done. Mike relayed this info. to me and we hung up. After 30 minutes I got a call back from Mike at Mazda Corporate, following up to see if the guy from the dealership had called yet. I said no. Mike said he should call soon and we hung up. Shockingly (not really), I never received a call back from the dealership. A few weeks went by and I re-called Mazda Corporate to again attempt to have them help me make my recall appointment. I spoke with Nathan. Nathan couldn't believe I was having such a hard time making an appointment at the dealer and again offered to call the dealership for me. When he returned on the line he said that he spoke with the manager at Perry Mazda and the manager had no idea why I'd had trouble making an appointment as the man who answered the service line should easily be able to make the appointment for me. Nathan said he'd patch me through to that individual after speaking with him first to make sure he was able to make the appointment. When I was patched through to Perry Mazda's service line, I again got the same individual who had answered the phone on my previous three calls there (again, he has a really distinct voice, so I remembered him from my previous calls). This time the guy said that he'd "be happy to make the appointment for me and didn't understand why I'd had such trouble making an appointment in the past." I told him that it was comical that he'd say that to me as it was he who'd answered all of my previous calls and told me that he was unable to make the appointment because it was a "recall appointment." The guy was a bit miffed that I recognized his voice and called him out about not knowing why I'd had so much trouble making the appointment. After stumbling over himself, he told me there was a policy change as of "yesterday" and he was just informed that he was actually able to make the recall appointments. How fitting. So, he FINALLY made my appointment for me. The same guy who put me on hold and never came back to the line AND told me on three separate occasions that he was unable to make the appointment for me just made it in less than three minutes. I couldn't believe it. So, to wrap it up, it took me several months, A TON of frustration, and having to involve Mazda Corporate to make an appointment. What a joke. On top of that, when I picked up the car after being serviced, they tried to charge me $370 for the work. I had to again argue that it was a recall appointment and that it was supposed to be free. UNREAL. Side note: each time I Googled Perry Mazda's number to call, I came across websites like Google ratings and others where customers have left ratings of this dealership. All of the ratings I saw were horrible, which leads me to believe that this is not a one-time (two-time really considering my experience in trying to get my oil changed back in 2007) incident . I honestly do not understand how this place stays in business. If you are able to go elsewhere - do it. Save yourself the grief! More
My husband and I went in to look at trading my 2002 Mazda minivan and specifically parked across the street from the dealership. It had been a long time since we purchased a vehicle and our past memories of minivan and specifically parked across the street from the dealership. It had been a long time since we purchased a vehicle and our past memories of salespersons clammering and pushing us to buy a car immediately were still fresh in our minds. We told Blake we weren't buying a car that day and he respected our wishes. He took us around and helped us define what kind of car we needed and wanted. We had planned on going to other dealerships as I had researched vehicles for months but in the end we were so pleased with the products at Mazda and our experience with Blake we just went back the next day and purchased a 2012 Mazda 3 and I have been very happy since. Thanks, Lori Clements More
