Monica: Thank you for your time on the phone as we discussed your situation. As mentioned, the first piece of paper that you referenced was a finance worksheet and not a document that requires a signature. The amount that was figured on the worksheet was incorrect (it was higher than the amount agreed upon), so Jeff struck it and put the correct amount in, which ultimately transferred to your signed paperwork. He did not deny doing this, he merely stated that some time had elapsed between when your paperwork was done and the phone conversation you both had, and that if you said he did that, he didn’t disagree. We also talked about the receipting of your down payment and I walked you through the error that both Jeff and you made in counting it. If you require further explanation, please let me know and I will be happy to go over it. Lastly, as I said on the phone, all of the employees here at Performance Lexus are trained to deal with our guests in an upfront, honest manner. We strive to achieve that level of excellence on every visit. I apologize again for everything not going as smoothly as you envisioned. We don’t tolerate any “shady” behavior and want every customer to have “the Lexus experience,” whether they’re buying a Lexus or any other car. Thanks again for your business, we appreciate you being a customer!”
