Honestly , trustworthy and integrity are not common traits one encounter when go sales manager Tony Baxter during my purchase of a 08 Porsche Cayman. Purchasing My First Lexus Experience I was in the market of purchasing a new vehicle. I had a 2013 Toyota Tacoma and was looking to trade it in for an upgrade vehicle. We have never owned I was in the market of purchasing a new vehicle. I had a 2013 Toyota Tacoma and was looking to trade it in for an upgrade vehicle. We have never owned a Lexus vehicle before but we’ve owned plenty of Toyotas in the past and even currently own a 2019 Toyota Sienna. My wife wanted me to buy a Lexus that I liked. At the time, I was looking into purchasing a 2020 Lexus RC F-sport, preferably white colored with red seats. I’ve done some research online and not a lot of the Lexus dealership around the area had the car specifically. I’ve finally found one and it was located in Columbus, OH, Lexus of Dublin. Needless to say, I had a bad experience with that dealership. On their website, they had a 2020 Black colored with red seat Lexus RC F-sport. I called and spoke to a sales rep and I never felt so belittle. All I asked was to see if they had that car available and that person rudely responded that it was sold and that they don’t have any other one. He didn’t even asked me if I was looking to purchase a new vehicle soon, checking at nearby dealerships or even letting me know if and when they were getting another shipment. I told him thank for checking and left it at that. To me, I didn’t know if buying a Lexus would be this much of a hassle cause I was never treated this way when I bought all my Toyotas. So I decided to checked around again online and spoke with someone in the chat box for Performance Lexus in Cincinnati, OH. I didn’t know if I was going to hear anything back from anyone since I just had a bad experience with Lexus of Dublin in Columbus, OH. Less than 30 minutes later, I received a phone call from Doug Greenup, a sales rep at Performance Lexus. He introduced himself to me, asked me what I was looking for and took my information done. I told Doug that I was looking for a Lexus RC F-sport. He said he didn’t have any available. The next day he called me back and said that he just got one and it was white with red seats. The perfect car that I was looking for. So we ran some numbers and my wife’s credit and so forth. So when the numbers finally came back, my wife asked me if I thought that car would be too small for us and my 3 boys. So we agreed that it was and changed our mind to upgrade it to the RX 350 F-sport. The only RX 350 F-sport that was available at the time was a black colored one with red seats. We decide on getting that one. So Doug had to re-ran the numbers all over again. Mind you with some minor credit issue and us constantly changing our minds, Doug was willing to work with us and provided us with one of the best customer service that I have experienced. So while, Doug was running the number, he know that we preferred to have a white colored vehicle with red seats. Doug told me if he could find the color that we wanted, we will get that one instead. During his day off, Doug kept in contact with me. He said that they were able to find one and that it was in Indiana. Doug told me that they can take a trailer there and bring it to the dealership. Long story short, Doug was able to locate the car that we truly loved and fit our needs. Doug went above and beyond expectations. I have worked in retail for the last 21 years, and Doug provided extraordinary service. During the delivery of our new vehicle, Doug had conversations with my 13 year old son whose into cars. Doug showed him some of his collections of cars. He was very personable with my family and that made it feel very welcome. I highly recommend Performance Lexus in Cincinnati, OH. Ask for Doug Greenup. I can write a book about my experience. Thank you Doug Greenup for all that you have done to make our purchase painless and worth while :) More
