We had a great salesman, transaction went smooth and left with my brand new car! Fast forward to August 2018. I decided I wanted to trade in the Rogue and get something smaller. I drive 20 miles one way to work and needed something better on gas. I had my heart set on a 2018 Nissan Sentra SR. I decided to go back to Peoria Nissan. What a completely 100% different experience. HORRIBLE!! After 7 hours, I left the lot with my new car. A silver 2018 Nissan Sentra SR. I had test driven a black one but was told I could get a better rebate on the silver one because it had been on the lot longer. I finally drove off the lot at 9:30 pm and immediately had 2 warning lights come on (low tire pressure and front break assist not working). I went ahead and drove home and would deal with them the next day. I took the car in after work and they claimed they fixed both issues. I drove around the rest of the afternoon running errands with no problems. The next morning I get in the car to go to work and BOTH warning lights come on again. I go to work. As I’m backing into my parking spot at work, the entire back of my seat FALLS and I’m all of a sudden in the back seat (thankfully it didn’t happen on the road). I call Peoria Nissan to explain what happened. They come pick up the car and bring me a rental to use until my husband (who is now out of town) and I can come back in and pick out a different car (the silver one has been labeled a bad car). The following Monday I go back to Peoria Nissan and pick out a new car and leave with a 2018 Nissan Sentra SR Midnight Edition. I get in to go to work the next day and once again WARNING LIGHTS!!! I go to work and speak with my boss who graciously allows me to take the day off to go back to the dealership and get my car taken care of. I have taken pictures and show them to Scott in the service center. He says he will figure out what is going on. Long story short, there is a problem in the production of the front break assist sensor. He tells me a recall will be issued but has not been done yet. He’s never seen the problem on a Sentra. Only the Rogues and Pathfinders. He puts me on the list to have the sensor replaced. I’m 12th on the list. I go to wash off the windshield while I am on a trip in Tucson and I hear a loud “screeeech” METAL ON GLASS! THERE ARE NO WIPER BLADES!! I call the dealership and tell them I am headed in from Tucson and explain what happened. I arrive at the dealership and after being harassed that someone stole them, they take the wiper blades off another car and put them on mine. They put some sort of filler in the scratch. It is right in my line of sight and I can still see the scratch. Scott (sales manager) says he will see what can be done to fix it. My husband and I return YET AGAIN to the dealership on 8/16 to resign documents for my new car. I speak with Scott, one of the sales managers (I’ve been dealing with him since they brought me a rental) I show him pictures I took of the car the day after I got it and show him there were no wiper blades and nobody stole them, they sold me the car without them. By now, I myself have spent over 17 hours at Peoria Nissan since starting the whole car buying process 1.5 weeks prior. My husband gets a call on 8/21 stating they are going to replace the windshield because the scratch is right in my line of sight. Ok, thank you for replacing the windshield. On 8/22 he gets ANOTHER phone call stating yet again, the paperwork was wrong and we needed to come in AGAIN to fill out the paperwork. Magically, 10 minutes later, he gets another phone call that the paperwork is fine. At this point, I am beyond frustrated and just about to give back the car and I will go somewhere else. The only semi understanding person through this whole thing has been the sales manager Scott. I am not sure what is going on at Peoria Nissan, but it needs to change. QUICK! This has been the worst car buying experience I have ever been through and have made sure to tell my friends and family to never purchase a vehicle from Peoria Nissan. This is long enough, I’m not even going to get into the problems with the 2 sales women we’ve had, Adrianna and Bailey. I have spent way too much time being stressed out about this whole situation I have yet to enjoy my new car. On 8/19, we received a phone call and text messages from Bailey demanding the other key back for the silver Sentra I initially had. I was not able to talk on the phone at the time so I text her back telling her I had given the key to Scott (sales manager) about a week and a half ago. Now, we are at 3 weeks dealing with everything. 3 WEEKS!! I feel this is completely unacceptable. I am not sure where he went, but someone needs to find Eduardo (our initial sales man when I purchased the Rogue in August 2016) and bring him back. He seems to be the only one that knew what he was doing and made the car buying process easy and smooth. He was amazing. I am 100% dissatisfied with Peoria Nissan and will not purchase another vehicle from there. When my lease is up on my new car, I will give the car back and will go to another dealership for a car. WORST CAR BUYING EXPERIENCE EVER!! Yes, Scott has been helpful with having the windshield replaced and having a rental car delivered to my work, but don’t new cars come with windshield wipers? Maybe that’s part of an extra package I didn’t purchase. Through all of this, I have barely gotten an apology for all the issues or any type of offer of compensation. I have taken time off work, time out of my day, time I could have been enjoying my new car to deal with issue after issue. The sensor issue has yet to be fixed, but I understand we are waiting on the part and it will be replaced when the new part comes in. I hope nobody has to go through what I have the past 3 weeks with Peoria Nissan, but I’m sure I am not alone. I’m sure others have had problems with Peoria Nissan. More
Pleasant but too long Went to peoria Nissan to purchase new pickup to replace one that was totaled. I had previously picked out the one I wanted. My boss and I went on together to pick up the truck which he was paying cash for. Price had already been negotiated. He told service manager to have paperwork ready to sign. After more two and a half hours I was finally on my way with truck. My boss wasn’t very happy about that part of purchasing at Peoria Nissan especially since two weeks earlier he had purchased a new Ford pickup which was delivered to him at our shop with paperwork ready to sign. People were very pleasant but ridiculously long time to purchase especially since it was a cash deal. More

Worked hard to make things right I had an issue with this dealership, but they went out of their way to improve things. I appreciate that they took the time to followup. My local mechanic advised that I visit the dealer given the complexity of the ABS system. Now understand, when I first purchased this truck I relied on the Peoria shop for my warranty maintenance. As the truck aged I switched to a local, trusted guy. No surprise ... much cheaper. But for serious repairs the dealer is still the go to source. So I honestly recommend Peoria Nissan for the quality of their diagnosis and work. It doesn't come cheap, but when you need them ... you need them. Their team is fast, honest and most importantly reliable. They're good people and very good at their job. More

Frustrating to deal with Service and Finance We came here to look for a used truck. Don't let them fool you on the 145-point inspection. They don't do it. I can say that because we bought a use We came here to look for a used truck. Don't let them fool you on the 145-point inspection. They don't do it. I can say that because we bought a used truck. We took it for a test drive and we noticed a loud clunking noise. BTW my husband is a certified mechanic for 35+ years. It was making a horrible clunking noise when he turned the wheel which they promised they would fix if we decided we were going to buy it. We did buy the truck and they promised it would go in for service and when we showed up at 12:00-12:30 pm the next day (Monday) that it would be ready. This didn't happen - we went to the dealership as instructed the next day and proceeded to spend nearly two hours there waiting for the truck. Service hadn't even touched it, yet it was 1pm (so we even got there late and it was still not ready). Not happy. After wasting two hours in the dealership waiting, my husband (who works graveyards) finally got his truck and went home. Only to get into his newly purchased truck to go to work at 11:00 PM that night to discover a burned out headlight and had to find a parts store open that late at night to purchase the part which he then installed himself - which also made him late for work. This would have been discovered and remedied if the service team were actually doing their job and performing the so-called 145-point check that was so heavily touted during the test drive. I never saw evidence that it was done, and we never received any type of checklist to show what was included in said 145-point check, nor any type of assurance that it had actually been done. For all I know, someone just walked around it, called it good and put it out on the lot. THEN - three days later - he gets a call - "you need to come in and sign new financing paperwork". What? Why would you even release a vehicle to someone if the financing wasn't solid and finalized? Then he gets to the dealership and discovers the interest rate has gone DOWN but the payment has gone UP. Bait and switch. After threatening to leave the truck there and take the bus home, the finance folks finally got themselves and the payments straightened out. But we will probably never do business with them again. Shady, shady and we feel that they were not upfront and entirely honest with us during this transaction. I had a very similar experience with my Mini purchase that SAME weekend. After haggling, arguing and all but demanding my keys and leaving, I finally got *close* to what I was asking for a trade on my paid off 2014 which was immaculately maintained with several premium upgrades. I made it clear before even going back to Finance, if they start doing the shell game bit back there, adding this and that and all kinds of other crap a NEW CAR doesn't need to boost their profits, I had no problem walking out the door. And you know what? Sultan listened. I didn't get the shell game flimflam. The gentleman I worked with respected me and we had a great conversation about our classics (like us, he is a hobbyist who works on his own old cars) and didn't give me a hard time or try to upsell stuff. All this hoopla about washing and detailing the car for me - when I get in, it's dusty everywhere. Fingerprints all over the car and on the glass and interior. The back seat is dusty and clearly had not been wiped down. They basically removed the stickers from the windshield and called it good. Only one key - with a 2018 vehicle that has only been in use for five months before selling to me, this is unacceptable. These xxxx keys are expensive. In the end, I leveraged a family relationship and will be taking my Mini to Mini of Scottsdale. I spent an additional $275 out of pocket for a spare key because I am pretty sure that Peoria Nissan put NO effort into tracking down the second key or even contacting the previous owner to get it. I also learned more about the car, the technology and how things work from a single salesman in about 10 minutes at Mini than all the time we wasted at Peoria Nissan. No biggie...based on the experiences we have had, we won't be going back. We have the paint protection plan on both vehicles so we have to go back for that, but that's it. Don't get me wrong - Ismael and Sultan are the bomb. We were well taken care of by them. Our grievances with FINANCE and SERVICE. We both are happy with our new (to us) vehicles but the process is so frustrating, so draining, that even savvy buyers like us with incredible credit, money down and paid off vehicles as a trade are completely DONE with the whole experience. It's going to be a long time before we buy a vehicle again. More
