Within minutes of arriving in the service bay we were greeted. In this case, Donald Moreno was very through in discerning our needs. We decided to wait so we were shown the waiting room. Very comfortable, vending machines if you desire some munchies, very clean restrooms and last but not least, great music playing. Any of the clientele that walked by us were quite friendly. Work was done in a timely matter. Only one little hiccup, I received a coupon two days later for $10 off the service I just paid for. More
Anthony Aguilar was a great/no non-sense sales guy. He understood I wasn't there to waste his or my time. Unfortunately, I can't say the same for the financial services manager, Walter Martinez. He He understood I wasn't there to waste his or my time. Unfortunately, I can't say the same for the financial services manager, Walter Martinez. He was nice, friendly, and very welcoming...that is, until I wasn't choosing any of the "additional services" to add to my monthly car payment. I did my homework before looking for a new car and knew what I was getting and not getting. He asked why I wasn't getting gap insurance and explained that I was getting it from my credit union. Walter said he was getting the information from my credit union and then gave me an estimate of $600 plus after asking how much the Gap insurance was. I told him that my credit union told me a different amount in the $400's and then he said, oh yeah. I said no thanks, and he proceeded to finalize the process. Walter continued asking other questions and signature requests, but the friendliness faded away. Maybe Walter was upset that I didn't select any "options," and the mood of the whole process changed from night to day. Walter's rudeness at the end when he was getting up from his desk, I wasn't sure where he was going, or where I was supposed to go, to the point that I asked him if I go out, and he said, yeah, he'll be right behind me. Sometimes people's lack of understanding of providing good manners and/or great customer service means that one communicates with their client/customer every step from start to finish. I'm going with my stepdad next month to purchase his truck, and I will call Anthony Aguilar to be my primary salesperson. Still, I will definitely ask to deal with a different financial services manager. For this reason, I'm giving four stars to Penske Buick GMC of Cerritos. It shows how one unfortunate moment can leave what was supposed to be a great moment to a disappointing experience. More

Car service was fine but I was really annoyed with the customer service and communication. I was quoted 2hrs wait so decided to take the company shuttle to the mall nearby to kill time. Driver said to call for pick up once I am ready to return. Called dealership and was told that there is no pick up provided. Why wasn’t I made aware of that from the beginning so that I could plan for alternate transportation? End up having to take an Uber back and that’s when I was told that the dealership doesn’t provide pick up but that there was a city shuttle who can drop me off. Really! Also was almost late to work because it took almost 3 hrs instead of 2. All you have to do is communicate with your customer if it’s going to take additional time to complete the work, very simple! More
