Friendly Service, Excellent Prices, And A White Truck I just got done celebrating my girlfriend’s mother’s birthday and had to be home in time for dinner. Although, it was raining, I decided it was okay f I just got done celebrating my girlfriend’s mother’s birthday and had to be home in time for dinner. Although, it was raining, I decided it was okay for me to drive my first truck, a red Toyota Tacoma, to the house anyways. Needless to say, not one of my better judgements. While only going 20 miles per hour, I hit a patch of water, hyrdoplaned, and knocked down a light pole. The truck was totaled, but good luck I had car insurance. Although, I was left with no truck. So while I had some free time, I thought looking on Facebook Marketplace for a new truck would be a good idea. This actually was one of my better judgements. On there, while looking for another Tacoma, I come across a 2007 white Tacoma with only 61,000 miles on it. Sort of similar to the one I had before, except my first truck had 193,000! I decided to ask for details and almost immediately got a response Joel Leary. He talked to me about some details to meet up so I could look at the truck. Now I live in Nacogdoches, which is about an hour away from Longview. Lucky for me, I have an uncle that lives in Longview who was willing to check it out for me. The next day my uncle told me how good of a deal it was and that they were willing to come down to $14,600 for the truck. All it needed was new tires and a new muffler, which Pegues-Hurst was actually willing to cover! I was so shocked about how good of a deal that was, that we had to drive down immediately to buy the truck. Now, I’m finally not stuck at my house anymore, and back out on the roads. I’m so thankful because I will be attending Mississippi State in the fall and I need a reliable vehicle for making the drives back to East Texas to see my family. Just staying clear of driving in that pesky rain should help. Although, I’m most thankful Joel and Pegues-Hurst Ford dealership for giving me such a good deal with really great service to boot. If you need a new vehicle and you’re around the Longview area, I recommend Pegues-Hurst. They will take care of you. If my anecdote doesn’t convince you, go see for yourself. You will not be disappointed. More

Completely mislead on condition of truck I had been looking for a GMC Sierra truck for a few months. I finally found the "perfect one", including the exact color combination I was looking for I had been looking for a GMC Sierra truck for a few months. I finally found the "perfect one", including the exact color combination I was looking for. We made a deal on the truck, and I flew down from Denver, CO to buy it. He told me how that recently there was a hail storm in TX and all their vehicles were damaged, but that this one had come in after and was not damaged. He SPECIFICALLY talked to me about how it had not had any damage, so I bought it under those pretenses. On the drive home, I opened up the gas pump door and put a small dent in it. I took it this week to be repaired, and I was told that my truck (that I had been told was perfectly fine) had had EXTENSIVE hail damage, been repaired, and then sold (to me!) I am so upset. It is the first "nice" vehicle I have ever bought myself, and I was so proud of it... I called the dealership and their response, "What are we suppose to do about it..." and more or less it's "your problem now"... I told them that quite honestly I'd like to return it. Of course, that's not an option they say. I am sorry to say that I have found them to be untrustworthy and the typical "car salesman" that people tend to fear, and completely unwilling to own this. I don't know that it was KNOWINGLY done, but I feel disappointed that a car dealership could be so unaware of the cars they are purchasing and reselling. More
