BEWARE - Scheduled a 70K service for $99.99 and during checkout, the total bill was over $450. Advisor Matthew said they had to do the 30K instead of the 70K that I requested. Advisor even questioned air filter / cabin filter and I declined since it didnt come with the 70K service.
Very sleazy bait and switch. Please remove me as customer from your mailing list. I wont be back for service or to purchase my next truck!
All of the other reviews about fake prices and silly required dealer add ons are correct. 47k advertised price became 50k plus $3500 scratch protection plus ….. I read the negative reviews before contacting them and getting a true out the door price was hard. After getting an email that looked enticing, they followed up with a true quote by text that was 10k more. Total waste of time and false advertising. This is why people are buying from caravan. Dealerships like this remind us all of why we hate dealing with the traditional dealership.
Avoid if you value your time or wallet.
Worst Car Buying Experience – Stay Away from Peltier Ford in Longview, TX
If I could give this dealership zero stars, I would. I live in Arkansas and found a truck online at Peltier Ford in Longview, TX. I drove all the way down there to look at it, and right off the bat, I noticed a dent in the driver-side rocker panel that was never disclosed to me during the price negotiation. I should’ve walked away, but I went ahead and bought the truck.
On my way home, the check engine light came on, and I had to have the truck towed back to the dealership. I had to fight with them just to get them to agree to fix it. Two weeks later, I get a call saying my truck is ready. So I take another day off work, drive several hours back to Longview, and when I get there, they tell me my truck isn’t ready. I had to drive all the way back home to Arkansas without my vehicle.
Another two weeks later, they finally deliver the truck to me — and guess what? The check engine light is STILL on. When I called the service manager, instead of owning their mistake, he had the audacity to tell me to take it to my local Chevy dealer to fix it on my own dime and my own time.
At this point, I’ve made three trips to Texas, wasted countless hours, and spent my own money dealing with a problem that should’ve been fixed the first time. This dealership has shown me nothing but dishonesty, incompetence, and zero customer care.
Save yourself the headache and stay far away from Peltier Ford in Longview, TX. They are happy to take your money but will not stand behind the vehicles they sell.
Shady Bait & Switch tactics. Absurd add-on to listed price on their website. Type of dealer that gives dealerships a bad name. Advertised one price on CARFAX with no mention of add-ons and another on their own Peltier website for an “OEM” pain/interior protection package that cost $2,495. Would not honor CARFAX price and salesman stated “The pricing throughout all 3rd party sites do vary sometimes unfortunately.” I chose to walk away. If you allow dealerships like this to get away with it, it encourages them to continue their shady business practices.
Worst Experience ever, watch out for the sneaky crooked finance guy, adding 2500 seems like the shady practice they do on all deals, make sure you look at the numbers, and we would have bought the vehicle at the price we were quoted, Don’t Buy from Peltier Ford in Longview.
Will add fees to ur loan. 2500 is a lot of money to me. I will never go back there
