Very Rare Straight Forward Honesty I shopped several dealers in Longview, Kilgore, and Marshall. I only felt 2 out many salesmen I dealt with cared at all about me as a customer, and Jo I shopped several dealers in Longview, Kilgore, and Marshall. I only felt 2 out many salesmen I dealt with cared at all about me as a customer, and Joel Leary was the best by far. My pet peeve is "What can we do to make this happen today?" Car salesmen, do you realize this sounds like "I dont give a crap about you. I need to either take your money and move on or not waste my time???" I told Joel I was on a tight schedule and would need to complete the sale the next day. He was fine with that. He carefully explained all the rebates and details very carefully and showed them to me on the computer so I would know exactly what was available. When it came to signing papers the finance guy was the same way. Very pleased with Pegues Hurst. More

Great Team of Salesmen Coming from a history of negative car buying experiences at other dealerships, Pegues-Hurst was a breath of fresh air! We reached out to them via int Coming from a history of negative car buying experiences at other dealerships, Pegues-Hurst was a breath of fresh air! We reached out to them via internet first and heard back promptly. Kris, the Internet Sales Manager at the time assisted us. He was very patient with the different vehicles, specs, and pictures we inquired about. We then showed up one Saturday morning at the dealership unannounced and we're greeted by a team of helpful salesmen! Kris was tied up with another customer, but greeted us and introduced us to Scott (aka - Skip). He nicely explained that Scott was going to help us while he finished up with the current customers he had, then would assist us once he was finished because they ALL help each other out like that when needed! I really liked that aspect about them as well because it made me feel like my time and money, honestly, were important! Scott was a VERY helpful, outgoing, polite, and extremely knowledgeable individual! We immediately went for a test drive in our now vehicle. The whole time, Scott directed me on where to go and how far in advance (not a Longview local), as well as what the cool gadgets and buttons do! He was very upfront and honest; not sales-y at all. We then came back and crunched numbers with Scott. My husband and I wanted to be in a certain range monthly and were honestly not trying to haggle anyone, so we would tell them when certain numbers didn't meet our needs and why. Every time we would start to get frustrated (mainly my husband lol), Scott would calm the conversation and GENUINELY ask us what we would like to see change. We were all able to work together to achieve our goal! Even David in the finance department (the one that gets the numbers from the banks for you, so I'm assuming the finance department) was upfront and honest and said that his supervisor told him he needed 2 more vehicles to meet their month-end and quarterly goals so to make a deal as best as he can. Lol. They ended up giving us 9,000 for my 6, almost 7 year old SUV with almost 150,000 miles on it and some type of engine trouble, in addition to small "wear and tear" things here and there! They also threw in a spray in bedliner and window tints with a "front brow" on our brand new 2019 F150 XLT! The truck is a beauty and we feel like they gave us a really good deal! About the tint and bedliner.... As I mentioned earlier, Kris was our initial salesman. We had made an appointment for Tuesday to drop the truck off to get the bedliner and tint done on Wednesday morning. When we showed up Tuesday and I asked for Kris, I was told that he no longer worked there and gave them no notice! As shocked as I was at the news, I felt like they handled the situation EXTREMELY well! They were all VERY courteous and polite to us, in addition to NOT saying a single negative word about Kris, despite his negative way of leaving the team! When. They asked if there was anyone else that could assist me, I IMMEDIATELY thought of Scott and his polite, helpful, kind, and knowledgeable self!!! I had never been more glad to know that they help each other out in sales because that definitely paid off! Scott quickly came to the rescue and knew EXACTLY what we're getting done, needed, and so forth. He pulled a loaner SUV for me since I have 2 young kids with carseats, cranked up the max AC so we wouldn't melt getting in, and made sure we weren't rushed in moving everything over to the loaner! He maintained composure and a never ending smile while helping us in the heat! Scott definitely gave +1 customer service, and for that, we are SO grateful!!!! I would like to add, the dealership, on behalf of the company doing the window tint and bedliner, assured us that they could get those 2 things done for us in ONE DAY so we could be ready for our vacation the following day!!! I got a call at about 2:30 this afternoon from Scott saying that our truck was ready! He even sent me pictures to see! He also let me know where to put the loaner keys (for after hours) and the process there. To take it a step further, he even sent me a picture for certainty!! This guy delivers +1 customer service and then some!!! I will definitely be buying from this dealership again!!!! More
