My husband & I recently had an amazing experience at Paul Masse Buick GMC in South Kingston Rhode Island. We’ve been looking for a 2024 Sierra & had difficulty finding one. We got a lead on a 2024 Sierra i Masse Buick GMC in South Kingston Rhode Island. We’ve been looking for a 2024 Sierra & had difficulty finding one. We got a lead on a 2024 Sierra in route to Paul Masse Buick GMC & contacted the dealership. We partnered w/ Dave Begin. Dave was extremely helpful & informative about the delivery process for the vehicle we wanted. The vehicle we wanted was “stuck” in the logistics pipeline in Michigan. Dave worked magic & got the vehicle on a rail car & moved out to a transportation depot in Brookfield MA. While the vehicle was closer to the dealership, we could not take ownership until the vehicle was transported to the dealership. Due to commitments outside of New England, we are scheduled to leave the area in a few days, with no flexibility in our schedule to stay longer. Time was ticking…. Dave put more magic into the process & made a request for a special dealership pickup of the vehicle. Friday 8/18, we received a call from Dave that they had received authorization for the special pick up request. On the morning of Monday 8/21, a couple reps from Paul Masse retrieved the vehicle. We were at the dealership at 4PM that same day to take delivery. They brought the truck around to the front of the dealership. WOW, what a beautiful truck. Dave was giving my husband the tour of the truck. When they got to the bed, Dave popped open the tailgate. As Dave is explaining features of the bed area, my husband focused on the puck system. We pull a 5th wheel the majority of time so the puck system & hitch are key to our lives & a must-have for our truck. My husband says “the stamp for the puck system looks more narrow to me”. I ran back to our 2018 truck we are trading in to size up the puck system’s footprint. Yup, they’re different. As I make my way back, another Paul Masse employee (Brad Spencer, the Parts Manager) was brought into the discussion. Brad was on his way out of the dealership when Dave flagged him down to ask him a question about the puck system. Brad confirms that the puck systems are diff are talking about the fact that the puck system changed in 2020. Doh! We had not considered needing a new hitch. We assumed it was the same configuration. To complicate the situation Brad didn’t think any compatible hitches were available and were on back order. My husband turns to Dave and says “Dave, this is a deal breaker. We are scheduled to leave New England in 2 days and have to be able to take our RV with us.” Without hesitation Brad said “you can borrow my hitch. My only request is that you return it at some point.” How amazing. Brad, who we literally just met, offered his hitch to us until we could find a hitch. Instant hero! There are not many people left in our world that are so selfless and kind. All this is to convey that we had a phenomenal experience with the whole team at Paul Masse. I’m still blown away with Brad’s generosity and kindness and Dave’s relentless determination and commitment to get us the vehicle we wanted in the timeline we needed. #paulmasse #welldonepaulmasse #paulmassegreatservice More
