First and foremost he listened to me and did not try to "blow smoke" or "sell" me in anyway. This was a far departure from the 3 previous dealerships I had just called about similar vehicles that left me far from interested in doing business with them. As a result, I scheduled time to come in the following morning to have him show me the vehicle and have the team assess the value of my trade. I have been in sales for almost 20 years in the IT industry and am a strong believer that what makes people successful in sales no matter what the industry is the ability to build strong relationships founded on trust. This can only happen if you are honest, have integrity, and are willing to listen to your customer and not drive your own agenda. Tom is a true professional that exudes these qualities and will undoubtedly continue to have success. He further impressed me by delivering paper work to my house later that evening likely adding over an additional hour to his commute home.
