AB, if someone has an experience here that disappoints them, two things happen. First, we learn everything we can to understand why, and second, we take steps to resolve it, or at the very least learn from it. Unfortunately, neither step can be taken if we can not identify who is making the complaint. We can not match an AB, presumably initials, up with any recent encounter. I am certain you know who I am. I was a customer there for almost 2 years. I always had wonderful things to say about your service department, who I will miss dearly. I couldn’t have been more pleased until my second purchase with your dealership. Haggling may not be your approach but it was your sales managers, even though I was a loyal customer. You did try to make it right in a way you felt fit, unfortunately for a loyal customer as myself, it wasn’t nearly enough for the experience I had at Patriot Subaru. It was actually a smack in the face which is why I have since taken my business elsewhere, which saddened me to do. It’s definitely a shame.

AK, we have tried to match your assessment, and your experience, with a customer. You did speak highly of our service team, and they could not pinpoint a name from the initials AK, or AB. We are saddened too at being unable to figure this out. Maybe its obvious and we're just missing it, but the guessing game is wearisome. If you would like to call me, I would be very glad to listen to your concerns. I will state again that haggling is not our style. Perhaps we were unable to meet the price you wanted on this new car. While we try to do everything we can, there are times when it is not possible. John, We value every customer, and you’ve been a steady one, sales and service. Over the years, you have brought forth your concerns, and we have always worked things out to your benefit. On this, you spoke directly with me first, while in the meantime Matt was working on some numbers based on invoice. I was unable to share with Matt the discussion about numbers between you and I. You were upset when Matt’s numbers didn’t reflect our conversation. That happens - and I quickly corrected it. Unfortunately, you did not accept my attempts to resolve your concern after we spoke on the phone. I followed up with a personal email this afternoon, prior to this review. The offer is excellent, and we stand on our good name that has always treated you with the utmost respect and appreciation. We would feel bad to lose your business, but at this point we have extended every courtesy and incentive, all in the friendly and helpful manner that is our hallmark. My issue is the blatant attempt to fraudulently induce loyal customers to respond to a guaranteed value of their vehicle and offer an additional $1000 in the transaction then in a quote reduce that amount and never really offer the $1000. Moreover is the concept that you offer wholesale trade in amount but then charge full Msrp to your most dedicated customers. That is not a business plan with an equation for success. Don’t guarantee trade in values for a certain vehicle then justify reductions because it’s discussed on the back bottom of the letter in 6 type font much too small to read. Further the supposed reductions in the guaranteed value was improperly reduced. The $27,100 was guaranteed if I had less than 30,000 miles which I did. I don’t buy from dealers who play games. The difficulties you refer to was my lemon car - the first 2018 I purchased. Let’s be transparent. Patriot and Subaru should have retired that car as a lemon but it was sold instead with good title. Good title on a car that could not drive without ending a ditch in 10 seconds.
