Don't Trust Their Mechanics OnStar reported right front tire low air pressure. Took car in for oil change and tire rotation and told them about the OnStar report. Picked up car next day, and work order indicated oil change and tire rotation had been done, so I left thinking the tire issue had been resolved. Drove 1/2 mile down the street, stopped for lunch at Chick Fil A. An eagle-eyed customer sitting by the window pointed out to me that I had a very large nail in the right front tire -- PROOF that they did NOT rotate the tires as indicated. So, can they be trusted? They did NOT perform work that the work order indicated had been done. This boils down to a safety issue for me. I left thinking the tires had been rotated, leaving me at risk for a blow-out? Flat tire on the highway? Flat tire ANYWHERE? I just found that inexcusable. Last time I was in for oil change, the mechanic failed to re-set some kind of sensor, rendering the cruise control in operable. Just very sloppy. More
