Worst car buying experience of my life. Seems to be a real lack of ethics and concern for the buyer, with profits above all else. They agreed to sell me a truck, we agreed on price, trade i Seems to be a real lack of ethics and concern for the buyer, with profits above all else. They agreed to sell me a truck, we agreed on price, trade in, and down payment. Told me they needed to use “their bank” so they could “make some money on the back side” Then they kept me on the hook for hours saying “we are working on your deal” and “just waiting on final numbers from the bank”. I’m pretty sure they were waiting to make sure the other deal went through before they cut me lose. Finally called and said another buyer had made a deposit on the truck. Said it was a misunderstanding and another manager didn’t realize they had already sold the truck to me. The manager on the phone made excuses about home many salesman they have and said “this stuff happens sometimes”. Never offered to make it right. I saw the truck still listed on their site later the same day, but listed for $3,000 higher than it had been when I agreed to buy it. Seems real shady. I will never buy anything from a Patriot lot and I’d advise anyone else to avoid them as well. More
