They don’t honor the commitment made on their website. I found a car and submitted an offer online. Never received a call back. When I contacted their Sales executive, Ashvin, he said that I should have con found a car and submitted an offer online. Never received a call back. When I contacted their Sales executive, Ashvin, he said that I should have contacted him directly and that their website offers go all Volvo dealers (if this is true, they should take down their website). Anyway, he said that the vehicle is not available anymore and that he would try to meet my requirements with an alternative. Then I got a call from Patrick, from their finance. He wanted to know my SSN to run a credit enquiry. I told him that the car is not available. But he said that it is available but the offer is not valid. He said that the information on their website is not correct and he said he can offer it at $200 higher per month. Obviously I was not OK with it and told him not to run a credit enquiry. He confirmed that he won’t. But on Monday I see that they have made an enquiry which dropped my credit score. Now I don’t have the car and my credit score has been impacted. I have had no luck in reaching their sales manager, Justin. The entire experience makes me feel that I have been scammed!! More
My salesman Sergio was great, he got straight to what I asked for and treated me as a customer. Not based on my appearance or what I drove i with. The offer the Patrick people to convince us re-lease another Volvo had almost nothing to do with what we told them were our priorities. Tola and Patrick made my car buying experience better than any dealership I’ve ever been to. There are no high pressure tactics, only honest conversations. The Finance guy Patrick came out to talk to me at the desk I was sitting at instead of making me go to some back office. He was able to make the financing very attractive and helped me finalize the purchase. 9:30 appointment no loner car was offered people working like they just wake up and didn’t want to be at work. I got there on time and the service consultant told me that was 1:30 for oil change. I only got the car in almost 4H when I question they said they were busy but why do we make appointment for ? Service is overrated and I’m trading this car because of that. Good luck if you need work in your car from this guys this was one of the worst service ever. Thanks for nothing. More
Fantastic Buying Experience Had a terrific buying experience at Patrick Volvo. I was looking for a very particular model (XC40 T5 Momentum, Amazon Blue) and Patrick was the only Had a terrific buying experience at Patrick Volvo. I was looking for a very particular model (XC40 T5 Momentum, Amazon Blue) and Patrick was the only dealership for 500 miles that had the color and options combo that I wanted. Called the dealership to inquire about the car, Mike Z. and Justin were quick to answer my questions, didn't play any "car buying games", and offered me a price literally thousands less than my local dealer was even willing to consider. So I made the 219 mile drive and it was worth every minute of my time. Thank you Mike and Justin for making the entire buying process so easy, fun, and hassle free. This is how car buying should be. If you are considering buying a Volvo do yourself a favor and check with Patrick Volvo first. More

Update 5/10 - Service Manager has reached out to me and has promised to fix all the issues and now the SUV is at the dealer getting things done. Mix ups do happen but how they are handled is what all matters. Will update the review based on how things will be managed this time. Original review - Bought my first Volvo here after reading some good reviews. My overall experience has been very bad even though I tried to work things out and gave them chances to rectify the situations but no one is ready to work with me or care for me as a customer. Made me wait more than 30 mins to talk to sales manager who never showed up and never replied to my email about me waiting for him during purchasing. When I bought the car I was promised (even in written) that some body scratches will be fixed at a later time. When I took the car back for fixing scratches, I also told them about couple of other things along with a new recall for which they said they have parts in stock and will be done during that visit as I live 40 miles away, they kept it for two days, called me back saying everything is finished and after I traveled 40 miles and drove there, no body scratches have been fixed and I received a sorry that they can't fix the body scratches as it cost them money to do it and sales team will not pay for it and just gave me another small part as apology which was part of the car and actually missing from the car when sold. Service team said that everything I asked for except scratches is completed and I came back home. After a week, to my shocking they called me and said my part has arrived and asked me to come back to get it fixed and when I asked what part, they said it's for the recall which I was told that it was in stock during my last visit and has been done. I told the lady to check again and give me a call what happened and she never called me back. Later I called to talk to their service manager and was told that he stepped out of the office and I explained everything to the person who answered my call and told her to pass the message to service manager and I need to talk to him for which she said she will make him to call me and resolve the issue. It's been more than 5 days since this happened and no one cared to call me back and explain what is happening. The sales manager also never replied to my email about my experience in buying the car with them. As a customer I don't understand why I should be calling you multiple times and trying to work with you to resolve issues but your team just ignore me as if I don't matter? I rarely leave negative reviews but with a large purchase like this and possible long term relationship I thought of building with my first volvo, this is not the experience I expected. More

Jim and his crew (namely Nadine and Nick) have always taken fantastic care of my car... and family (ie setting us up with a last second loaner when we were on our way to a Cubs game and my car experienced issues enroute). Not only does Jim and his team go the extra mile in the service department, but this man should be recognized for his dedication to his customers and his passion for his business. He was instrumental in the coordination of the trade in and subsequent purchase of my new XC90. He helped facilitate communications between me, the sales manager and the salesperson. He made this car buying experience a pretty pleasant one. Now, I do hope I don't have to see him as often within the service department walls, as I did with my 2016 xc90, but I know when I do he will have a big smile for me and his crew will go out of their way to take care of me and my car, which in turn keeps my family safe. More

The Mini was due for service at Patrick Mini. We were also in the market for an SUV to replace our ten year-old SUV. I had test driven and narrowed our choices down to a couple, including the Volvo XC90. Knowing that Patrick had a Volvo dealership, I contacted the sales manager, Justin Rupp. Within a few hours, I had pricing from Brett Johnson and a test drive scheduled while the Mini was being serviced. I had test driven the Volvo XC90 at a dealer closer to home (we live 25 miles from Schaumburg), but my wife had not. The test drive went well. Brett spent a lot of time with us showing us the features of the Volvo XC90. We purchased that day. Thanks to Brett, Justin, and the rest of the staff, it was a very smooth transaction. I have purchased ten cars in the last three decades and the last two have been from a Patrick dealer. More
