Terrible Purchasing Experience I recently bought a 2018 Ford Transit Connect from Parks Ford of Wesley Chapel for my nonprofit organization. Communication from before the sale to se I recently bought a 2018 Ford Transit Connect from Parks Ford of Wesley Chapel for my nonprofit organization. Communication from before the sale to several weeks after has been challenging at best. The left hand at the dealership doesn't seem to talk to the right hand. For example, after agreeing to the sale, I received an email from the manager Shane asking why I chose not to buy the car. I called the direct number offered in his email, but did not get a call back. Prior to that I had gone through the Internet Sales department which didn't seem to relay information to the sales folks. It would often take several days to get a returned call or email from the salesperson who didn't seem to want to sell a car; Mike seemed nice enough but I would have hoped for more responsiveness including calling or texting instead of emailing, especially when I said I was on the road and didn't check email from the road. Upselling is common practice, and though I repeatedly said I was not interested in all the extras, I was constantly encouraged to pay more for them, especially by Carlos, business manager. Ultimately I ended up paying more than the agreed amount because of misinformation. I am not a happy customer, and would definitely suggest buying from a different dealership. That being said, the vehicle seems to be in great condition and I am happy with the Ford Transit Connect...just not with the practices of the dealership including communication. More

Great sales staff I purchased a 2019 explorer from Jeff Roth. I usually think of buying a car a major hassle and dread it. Jeff made the experience a pleasurable one. He spent as much time as I needed to look at cars and test drive. Once the sale was complete he spent considerable time going over the vehicle and showing my wife and I how to use all the features and especially sync. Great Service Another visit to Parks Ford of Wesley Chapel on 05/04/2019. My husband dropped off our 2017 Mustang because the rear of the car was extremely unstable. We were concerned it might be the tires we just had them install. After the service department looked into the problem they discovered it was to totally different problem. When we purchased the vehicle from another Ford dealership they told us their service department had completed many upgrades to the car. The car has always been a little twitchy since we bought it but we thought that was normal. Come to find out with Parks service departments help it was determined one of the suspension upgrades was done sub-par. This created a cascading problem. After Parks corrected the problem with the suspension and other problems it created my car rides better than it ever has. I couldn't be happier with the service I've gotten from Parks Ford. Everyone from Destin, the service techs that diagnosed and fixed my baby and everyone in between..... Thank you! You all Rock! More
Great experience Tanner was great from the start. He met us in the lot when we were looking at the vehicles and getting ready to go find someone. He just appeared. Tanner was great from the start. Beware of this dealership!!! They will try to ripe you off!!! Went to the dealership with my daughter in law to help her buy a car after moving here from Te of this dealership!!! They will try to ripe you off!!! Went to the dealership with my daughter in law to help her buy a car after moving here from Texas. She is only 23yo. We took a used car for a test drive and while on the drive back we heard a loud knock and hard shake on the car. Transmission went out. We made it back to the dealership and decided to take a different car out. 2012 Chevy Spark listed for $6400 on window. After the test drive we sat down to discuss the deal. After a few back and forth of the sales person going to talk to manager, the manager came to talk to us and go over numbers. We ended up with final deal of $6500 out the door. I told him that we were going to give $3000 down and finance $3500. She has no credit history and we wanted to run her credit to see what interest rate she would qualify for. (Monday) They told us that they would email us the application so she can do the credit application. They emailed it to her a day and a half later (Wednesday). They told her she would have to get insurance on the car before they would run her credit. I told her to tell them that there is no way she needed to get insurance before buying a car or even to run a credit check. Made no sense. Then an hour later they called her again saying that they got her approved. $220 per month for 52 months at 24% interest. This comes to $11,440. This is crazy and they are trying to take advantage of this young girl. How in the xxxx does financing $3500, because we were putting $3,000 down on a $6,500 car end up with a $220 payment for 52 months. $11,440 + $3,000 = $14,440 for a $6,500 car. I want to know who is adding this up because they are really trying to screw over my daughter in law. Even at 24% financing $3500 = $4,340 / 52 months is about $85 per month. This dealership tried to scam her and pocket the $3,000 and finance the $6,500. Then they tried to sell her GAP insurance, why!!! GAP insurance is for when you're upside down on the loan. She is financing only $3,500. She is not upside down. Making her buy something that is not necessary. Beware of this dealership, check your number before you buy here. I was also thinking of buying a truck but not from this place. I can't stand dishonest businesses. Especially when they try to deceive and take advantage of customers that do not know much about buying cars. Selling unnecessary items. More
