Just picked up my 2014 Stingray from Royal Chevrolet. The overall sales experience could not have been better. Of course, this was not a surprise as I've purchased from Royal on numerous prior occassions and they've always been great. I went in for a car repair and that service was great. However, while waiting for repair a Salesman convinced me he had a great deal in a used car. After a test drive and sales talk from salesman, I promise to buy the car. Next day I bought the car and no longer than 2hrs of the purchase the car ran hot. Royal refuse to give money back but offer repairs. I said ok. They told me they repaired the car. Later I found out the only thing they did was put anti-freeze in car. Not less than 12hrs of receiving car Chk Engine light came on and car ran hot. I took car back for 2nd time. They said they would repair it. I picked up car for a 3rd time and had it for a week and the car ran hot again and chk engine light came on. This time I went to another dealer and they told me my water pump had a leak and I needed a themostat. Other issues I had with this sale is that the salesman told me that Royal bought the car from an auction, later I found out it was a trade-in. Disturbing to me they did not check the car out before selling it to me. My mistake was trusting the dealership. I paid for the repairs for the new dealer and promise not to buy a used car from Royal again. More
