I met Mike Dingess from a previous visit as I test drove a 2014 Malibu L Went to Royal Chevorlet on New New Years' Eve just to look around for a car. I met Mike Dingess from a previous visit as I test drove a 2014 Malibu LT in July 2014. I went there so I could be certain for myself that I would qualify for a vehicle at all. Mike took down my information and submitted it to Dino, who was one of the finance managers there. Mike returned minutes later with good news saying that I qualify for a 2013 Malibu LT (just what I wanted). I was surprised that I even qualified for anything that new at all! Mike was very hospitable and kept his promises in his customer transaction as well as a smile on his face and treated every employee with respect as well as other customers. He is a true asset to the Royal Automotive Group. May he be successful in this dealership and thank you for selling me the car! That said, my dealings with Matthew Ridley and Royal Chevrolet rank at the top of the list for exhibiting EXCEPTIONAL PROFESSIONALISM. He not only gave my wife and I the information we needed to make an informed decision, but he also provided us the space we needed to make that decision with piece of mind. His communication (in person, over the phone, and through email) was great. He respected the "how, why and when" to contact us which made the process very comfortable (none of the other 6 dealerships we met with respected our wishes). HE LISTENED to what we were truly looking for - not just what features were required, but more importantly how were going to use the car and what would be needed to make our life in it most enjoyable. Instead of just pushing what was on the lot (all of which would have made us happy), he searched for the exact fit, and he found it. I have never dealt with a sales professional that seemed truly as excited to find the right fit for me as I was. When we went in to handle the financial aspects of the transaction, I expected the usual drab, gruff individual as I have always experienced in that accounting position. You know, the guy that takes the fun out of buying a new car - well, not here. Dino Capocelli was extremely personable, friendly. He too was not pushy on any of the additional service packages offered. He also listened to our needs and questions patiently, and allowed us to make the decision that best suited our needs. While there are multiple dealerships between our house and the 50 mile trip to Royal Chevrolet in Richmond, we will pass each to have our Suburban serviced there. I am not as interested in the flashy showrooms or gimmicks offered at the other dealers. I care more about the people and the integrity of those who work there.
