Upon arrival at Parks Chevrolet Huntersville on July 9th, 2020 I was approached by a salesman named Sonny. After looking at several vehicles and expressing my wants and needs we found a vehicle that fits the 2020 I was approached by a salesman named Sonny. After looking at several vehicles and expressing my wants and needs we found a vehicle that fits the needs of my family. When I test drove the 2015 Chevrolet Suburban i noticed a few ants crawling around and brought it to Sonny’s attention. He reassured me they would look into it and take care of the problem. Prior to submitting my application for financing I requested the CarFax on the 2015 Chevrolet Suburban. Sonny withheld the information until the actual application was submitted. When it was time for me to sign off on the acknowledgment of the CarFax Sonny literally clinched several pages to his chest that reported accidents. Once I noticed the CarFax was missing pages I cancelled the deal and left the dealership as I felt like there were some shady business practices. On July 10th, 2020 I spoke with the sales manager at Parks Chevrolet Huntersville and he sincerely apologized on behalf of Sonny’s behavior the previous day and reassured me that my new salesman, Joe Coury would take care of me. That afternoon I met with Joe, signed the finance documents and drove off in my new car. That weekend we discovered the Suburban was infested with ants. Ants crawled onto my children while in their car seats, on the dash, into our drinks that were in the cup holders, they were everywhere. That week i dropped the suburban off at Parks Chevrolet and they exterminated the vehicle. On July 17th 2020 i received a call from the finance manager stating that my job has not verified employment and if it’s not verified that afternoon by 5pm I need to return the vehicle to the dealership. Joe called me shortly afterwards and we discovered that Sonny falsified my employment information which caused the confusion on my eligibility to be financed with GMAC. After countless phone calls I was able to confirm my employment and finalize the deal with GMAC. On July 28th, 2020 I had a service appointment to check out my newly purchased Chevrolet Suburban because the transmission is slipping/jumping. Cat, the service director for my ticket informed me that my transmission fluid looked like it had metal in it and they needed to keep my car for at least a day or two. I had to beg for a loaner car because i needed to get back to work. I was told I could not get a loaner car although i witnessed a couple drive up in a black Chevy Tahoe that was a dealership loaner car and they drove off in their mini van that had been serviced. I was eventually given a car to drive back to work. I spoke with Cat several times within the 2 days my car was being test driven to diagnose the transmission issue. At 8am Cat informed me that my car was not in the bay so it was safe to assume my car was being test driven. I called back at 11am to get an update. Car still not in the bay. I called again at 3pm. Car still not back in the bay. At 5pm i called and Cat told me to pick my car up. Nothing is wrong with it. You mean to tell me the mechanic has to drive my car around for 9 hours just to say they did not find anything wrong with it? He came out and I told him how my car was diagnosed with metal in the transmission fluid the day prior and then 24 hours later the same metal could not be found and after the mechanic was able to drive around town for 9 hours he did not find anything wrong. I walked over to the dealership and spoke with Michael Davis and told him about my experience, now with the service department. He did not understand why the service manager told me that it was too late to replace my gas that was used. He explained that all he had to do was put gas in my vehicle, although the service manager told me it was impossible to do. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP! I have yet to receive my permanent tag. My temp tag is expired. The general manager Andrew Robin is no help as well. He does not own up to any mistake his employees make. More
DO NOT BUY FROM HERE!!! They sold me the biggest lemon ever. The car literally died on the way home right after buying it, less than 10 miles from the dealership because they didn’t put any oil into the c ever. The car literally died on the way home right after buying it, less than 10 miles from the dealership because they didn’t put any oil into the car after their “inspection.” Had to argue with the old guy in service about the car not having oil. I obviously put some oil in it to come back the next day (I live in Salisbury) I’ve put close to $4k in car fixing it from engine fixes, to transmission fixes, etc within the first 3 months of owing car. The dealership didn’t have any interest in fixing it or even helping me fix it by offering any kind of discount. The only way they would help was “we can get you into something newer” literally! Got all the work done by the dodge dealer in Salisbury. They eventually felt so bad for me after throwing money into the car left and right they literally bought me a new transmission for free after fixing one thing after another in the one the car had from Parks, even though the car passed their 172 point inspection (lol okay) I just had to pay labor to put it in. They did all this for me, and this wasn’t even the dealership I bought it from! With all the problems it had/has I’m surprised the car passed their 172 point inspection they claim to do on used cars. To this day the car sits broken down, with to much negative equity, still making payments. Just do yourself a favor and STAY AWAY!! Would give 0 stars if could! More
Trouble after purchase I purchased a 2015 Yukon here. The sales process was ok. The staff was friendly and I didn't feel like I was getting a bad deal. I owned the car fo I purchased a 2015 Yukon here. The sales process was ok. The staff was friendly and I didn't feel like I was getting a bad deal. I owned the car for 2 months and had to bring it back for engine failure. They assisted slightly but I still had to pay around $5k out of pocket to get my vehicle repaired. I would say this was an isolated incident, but I was interested in a Sierra prior to buying the Yukon and when I went in to buy it, after test driving the weekend prior, the AC didn't work. This makes me think they have a low quality standard on their used inventory. More

buyer beware/ bait n switch/poor customer handling I scheduled a test drive for an Escalade; Communicate with their BD rep (Julia) and setup date/time. On day of drive, 2 hour before time, I got text I scheduled a test drive for an Escalade; Communicate with their BD rep (Julia) and setup date/time. On day of drive, 2 hour before time, I got text and VM stating that vehicle we wanted to test drive is sold, however 2 other vehicles are available to consider. I agreed to keep the appointment as both of us took time off from work to go to dealership for test drive and possible purchase. When arrived at dealership, it was eventually revealed that not only they don't have vehicle in lot, their rep apparently did not inform store crew (as claimed). This was utterly unprofessional and worst dealership I have endured. Since our household have multiple vehicles, we dealt with various over every 2 yr in avg and I found this one very unprofessional and with no system whatsoever to track and manage basic appointments and customer needs. It took my wife 1 hr to drive from her work to be here; I demanded to see floor Mgr (Mike) and told him about how poorly coordinated setup he is part of. Offcourse they will never get our business nor any recommendation but I wanted to make all other potential buyer be aware. I am glad in a way that we did not purchase from them or else we might be into some bigger issue than just wasting couple of hours and work time off in this instance. Buyer be warned. More
Bed Liner rip off I purchased a Colorado from Parks more than a month ago and have been completely mislead on the bed liner for my truck. Parks, without being asked I purchased a Colorado from Parks more than a month ago and have been completely mislead on the bed liner for my truck. Parks, without being asked, promised to pickup my truck, leave a loaner with me and would return the truck once the bed liner had dried. Once the paperwork was complete, I was asked to visit a different dealership for the spray in bed liner and when I went to that dealership, no loaner was available and no options were presented to resolve the issue. Will Parks keep its word on the bed liner or was this just a cheesy sales pitch? I have not been able to reach the sales rep or the general manager by phone, and I was transferred to three different voicemails with no call back. More
Unprofessional conduct I called Parks Chev and asked about a vehicle on their web site. The mgr - Ty - assured me that he would have the 'car ready and gassed up when I arr I called Parks Chev and asked about a vehicle on their web site. The mgr - Ty - assured me that he would have the 'car ready and gassed up when I arrived the next day. I spent an hour in heavy traffic getting to the dealer. Guess what - The car did not exist ! Nobody , including the GM, seemed to give a xxxx that I wasted half a day. All I got was 'We're sorry'. Then my salesperson told me this was the 3rd time in a few days this had happened to him. People showing up looking for a non-existent car. Bait and switch. This is not a company to do business with. No ethics. Lazy. Not interested in the customer when the chips are down. And possibly outright dishonest about the cars they have to sell. Wish I had read the Yelp reviews before I went there More
Sold Me A Lemon Bought a car from them on January 4th, 2018. On the ride home from picking it up it started knocking and left me on the side of the road, get back to Bought a car from them on January 4th, 2018. On the ride home from picking it up it started knocking and left me on the side of the road, get back to the dealer the next day, finds out the car has NO oil in it at all. Few day later the engine light comes on and it won’t accelerate above 3200 rpms. Get the car to them and I find out it needs one of the coils replaced. Ok they did this for free cool. About 2 weeks later the transmission went out and had to pay over $1,300 at my local dodge place because they refused to work on it. The dodge place precedes to tell me that there was 5/6 codes that have been cleared out, but not fixed, before the car got to them. The only place this car has been before going to the dodge place is Parks Chevrolet of Huntersville. Today is June 7th 2018, $3,600 later the car still continues to have transmission problems. The cars color is red, but it should be yelllow! DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM THEM!! More
