After hearing about my friend's wonderful new Honda buying experience at Parker Johnstone Wilsonville Honda, I decided to start my search with them. Well, I never got to another dealer because they treated me with such respect and low pressure sales that I decided to purchase that same day. I bought a 2010 Honda Fit and am loving driving it. I would highly recommend this dealership. Their employees are knowledgable, friendly and really want you to find the right car for your lifestyle, not just the models they need to move. I worked with Kim P. who answered all of my questions and didn't try to talk me into a more expensive car than what I wanted to buy. Erik K., the internet sales manager gave me a good quote and made sure I was taken care of throughout the purchase of my new car from the test drive to the financing. After much research, I decided upon purchasing from wilsonville honda.. My mistake was that it was in the evening after working a full day, and the dealership is over an hour drive from me. I was completely taken advantage of.. there was no "deal" and while it was certainly MY mistake, I will never go back. I was ripped off by thousands of dollars and because it was evening, I didnt noticed how badly the bed liner of the ridgeliner that I bought was scratched up! I called honda and let them know, they contacted Parker Johnstone.. they called me and said they would take care of it when I came in for my 30 day maint check (which was today)... Haha! I brought this up and the topic was completely ignored, when I asked again, they said I would have to contact the sales manager, as they were "not connected to that part of the business", what a bunch of xx. although, they did change my oil with no charge - but this should have been done when I bought the vehicle. Their "commitments" poster and tag lines are xx.. don't believe a word that they say. While I love the ridgeline, Parker Johnstone is full of xx... and will take full advantage. DONT GO THERE TO BUY YOUR NEW VEHICLE!!! Oh, and I didn't mention yet that the free 90day xm didnt' work and now its a hassle to work with XM ... AND.. the bluetooth won't work.. appartently it's already programed for "Bob" who works at the dealership. AND, one of their staff stole my key chain, then insulted me by accusing me of taking it but not taking my house keys.WTH??. Staff were nice, but it was a stab in the back after finding out the tactics they used is a farce. More
Dave (manager) and Jose BOTH could not update the computer systems for our contact information. It took them more than 5 times of updating to get it correct and accurate... Upon the next visit it wa computer systems for our contact information. It took them more than 5 times of updating to get it correct and accurate... Upon the next visit it was still wrong! On all visits Manager Dave and Jose where never on the same page at providing information for servicing! When they washed my vehicle (after being told NOT to several times per person at the service desk AND it was inserted into the file not to wash it) it had swirl marks EVERYWHERE. They are terrible! Everything they stated in the email was exactly as stated we got a great price, great service and for the first time we walked away fr ever been to. After reading the negative review below, I was compelled to write. It is hard to believe that someone could have such a different view from what I and my friends have experienced at this wonderful dealershi to write. It is hard to believe that someone could have such a different view from what I and my friends have experienced at this wonderful dealership. I have had awful experiences with service departments in other stores. As a woman, I have been deceived, lied to, and made to feel stupid. My first "eye opener" at Wilsonville Honda was the number of women working in the Service Department. All are competent, knowledgable, and extremely helpful and friendly. They only recommend work that Honda suggests, with none of the other "add ons." I was treated so well in service, I purchased a new car from them. Once again, they have women working in the sales department (as sales people and as managers)but having said that, I was treated extremely well by everyone I encountered. I think what really impressed me was that Parker Johnstone came by to introduce himself. I don't think I've ever heard of a Portland car dealer that actually is in the store, let alone helping customers on a daily basis. The quality of their customer care is second to none. Reading a few of the other comments I have to believe that if mistakes were made, that this dealership did everything possible to correct them. I won't go anyhere else for my car needs. More
After 90K service, our car was returned with: • Low on After 90K service, our car was returned with: • Low on engine coolant (!). • Low on brake fluid (!). • Basic hardware improperly assembled in multi After 90K service, our car was returned with: • Low on engine coolant (!). • Low on brake fluid (!). • Basic hardware improperly assembled in multiple places (shows lack of detail and sloppy workmanship). • Engine oil over-filled for an unknown reason (!). • Coolant and brake fluid spilled inside the engine compartment and fluid was burning off the exhaust (shows lack of detail and sloppy workmanship). • Accumulated road dirt on valve cover after supposedly adjusting the valves. Based on the above items, we question whether they did the adjustment. They admitted to spilling engine coolant and brake fluid which they "couldn't" clean up at the time. They refused to refund us any of the cost of this "service". We will never go there again. More

We had been in communication with Jim Smith over the phone and already had an agreed on price that was very fair. They stayed open later since it took us a long time to get there. They let us check it out in detail and had a CARFAX ready to go before we asked. Everything was refreshingly straight-forward. It's so nice to deal with a place and a person that actually asks you questions about your needs and listens. When it came time for the pricing, there were no tricks. Just the agreed upon price. No extras were pushed at all. I can't stress how nice that was and you can imagine how much time that will save not having to cut through that xx. Thanks, Jim Smith, and Wilsonville Honda. You've restored my faith in the possibility of a customer-centered car dealer. More
