I was contacted by Shane after an online inquiry. I attempted to negotiate with him by showing him cars of very similar specs that were listed on their website. He was argumentative and presented no facts to justify why the car was $4-7k higher. At one point he said "do those have new tires? Ours does". Clearly he is just guessing - and the other cars were on his own website (but in plano) so why didn't he check? Instead he just threw out whatever "possible" explanation he could think of, to continue to refuse to negotiate. 3 days later, the car was reduced by nearly $4k. He of course would not respond to me at this point. I submitted an online offer for the car and interestingly enough I have not received a response in 4 days, even after submitting an inquiry about it. I can't imagine it is normal for them to ignore an offer this long. More likely, my file is still tied to him and he is ignoring it. More
