Then, my old vehicle started to become very unreliable, and he called with an offer on an MDX we had looked at before. The deal came together quickly. Jonathan made sure the vehicle was ready, clean, and prepared when I picked it up on New Year's eve. I drove it to Canada that evening, with no problems at all. A week later, he called to say the new plates were in. When I drove up to get them, he came out personally, and installed them himself. He had the right tool for a dark night, with a swirl of cold rain in the air: an electric drill, with a driver the right size for the plate screws -- and an electric light to make sure the screws were lined up properly.
