I recently purchased my third Subaru, but this was my first experience with Pape Subaru. I was extremely impressed with their customer service, their patience in dealing with me throughout the process (I first experience with Pape Subaru. I was extremely impressed with their customer service, their patience in dealing with me throughout the process (I am admittedly an obnoxious market researcher and foot dragger) and their willingness to accommodate my needs by locating the exact vehicle I was looking to purchase. I worked with Rick O'Neal throughout the process. Rick was extremely knowledgeable about both the Subarus he had available and the competing products I was considering. Rick was very responsive, answered all my questions (even it it required some research) and was extremely accommodating of my time and schedule. I never felt pressured in any way, which was a refreshing shift from my prior purchase experiences. Without question this was the most enjoyable car purchasing experience I have had at any dealership. More

I started looking in 2009 and finally purchased my new Forester in April of 2011. I had been working with Mr. Rick O'Neal for many months and he helped me with all my questions and together we negotiated a price I felt comfortable with. He let me know about all the extra products and services that were available to make my Subaru exactly what I needed. He is very knowledgeable about the Subaru line and its products and its nice to deal with someone who has experience. Making this purchase I felt confident working with him and his team as they prepared my car and it was even delivered to my home. I have has my car for about a month and Mr. O'Neal has followed up by calling me to make sure that I am still happy with my purchase. When it comes time to trade in this Subaru there is no doubt where I will be going and seeing. More
I have been leasing a new Subaru Forester for over 10 years now (I turn it in every 2-3 years) & I have been fortunate enough to deal with Rick O'Neal on every car lease. I truly receive 'exceptional ser years now (I turn it in every 2-3 years) & I have been fortunate enough to deal with Rick O'Neal on every car lease. I truly receive 'exceptional service,'which makes my choice very easy to continue dealing w/Subaru & Rick. I also need to add that NOT only Rick but every individual that I have dealt with at Pape has always been very professional, friendly, outgoing & responsive to my needs...so I ask YOU...Why would I ever go anywhere else... Rick has truly become a trusted friend over the years & I truly love the Subaru experience, especially the safety of the vehicle which I continue leasing for that reason although the reasons are numerous: safety, price, comfort, service, treatment & the list goes on & on.....You'll love the Subaru experince so I urge you to 'Go for It.' I purchased my Subaru at a local dealership that assured me that I would be taken care of, however, when it came time for my first service, they expected to drive 40 minutes on a Saturday or take an hour ou me that I would be taken care of, however, when it came time for my first service, they expected to drive 40 minutes on a Saturday or take an hour out of my day. On a whim, I called Pape since it was closer to my office and found out they offer shuttle service in the greater Portland area. Now, every time I need service, I drop my car off in the morning and the shuttle takes me to work and picks me up again at night. I had originally purchased the service package that took care of all oil changes and routine service for 45000 miles. Since that has expired, I have continued to get my maintenance done at Pape even though it is more costly than Mieneke or VIP because of the wonderful service. When I call, I am greeted by name. I feel confident that I am well known there and even though my car was not originally purchased there, I feel that I am treated as a very valued customer. I would (and have) greatly recommend Pape Subaru to anyone! Thanks, Pape! More
When I recently brought our second car in for 60,000 mile service the bill was the same as the estimate; no surprises or hidden costs. The total cost of the service was $300 less than at another Subaru deal service the bill was the same as the estimate; no surprises or hidden costs. And, since they didn't have a loaner car, they rented a car so I could do the shopping I needed to complete before departure for a trip to China. I had no time to spare and they helped me maximize every minute while my car was being serviced. More
The service at Pape Subaru in South Portland Maine has been consistant and of a very high quality. During my last two service visits I showed up at the service desk at least 1/2 hour before my scheduled been consistant and of a very high quality. During my last two service visits I showed up at the service desk at least 1/2 hour before my scheduled service time. Both times they took my vehicle ahead of schedule and I was back in my vehicle heading home ahead of my scheduled sevice appointment time. The service department has always been very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend Pape Subaru to anyone requiring vehicle service. More

I found the perfect car on the internet at Pape Subaru. I initially corresponded with Keri via email and set up an appointment. Mike Chizik introduced us to the car and gave us a very thorough walk-about. The whole process was great and Mike was so helpful. I am very pleased with Pape Subaru and will recommend the dealership to everyone. I will especially recommend Mike. He was so knowledgeable and professional. He never pressured me. He made it the great experience that it was. I LOVE MY NEW SUBARU! More

My wife & I have brought our now 8-year-old Forester into Pape Subaru for regular maintenance & minor vehicle emergencies since they opened. As a retiree, it has been crucial to us to keep this vehicle on the road, which is why I wrote to Scott Frazier & Kris Corriveau this morning, [new tires yesterday + replaced thermostat make the car feel brand new!!] because throughout our tenure with them they have exhibited the utmost in immediate welcome, efficiency, & professionalism. Dealing with auto dealership service departments can be a nerve-wracking experience for anyone, let alone a woman, or an older person like myself, but from the get-go this service team at Pape establishes a trusting rapport one can count on every time.
