Eric helped us get an incredible deal on a pre-owned SUV, and we had a great experience overall. We have probably all encountered sales people who pepper you relentlessly with commentary about cars you’re not interested in and are so pushy you just want to leave the dealership; but, with Eric we felt the process was smooth, he was easy to work with, and he wanted us to be happy with our purchase. He’s experienced at what he does, and it shows. The finance managers were also very fair and reasonable, so if you’re looking for a new or used car (Honda or any other brand), we recommend Pacific Honda and Eric Stephens. More
On August 14, 2020, I decided to visit PACIFIC HONDA in high hopes to trade in my Mazda 6 for a Honda Accord. Prior to arriving to this location, I already knew exactly what I was looking for & wanted, bei high hopes to trade in my Mazda 6 for a Honda Accord. Prior to arriving to this location, I already knew exactly what I was looking for & wanted, being I've previously had a Honda Accord Coupe. So, before arriving, I did my research with intent to be prepared upon arrival to the dealership. Upon arrival, I approached the receptionist desk & inquired about viewing inventory & a possible trade-in. I informed her that an appraisal on my Mazda 6 would also be needed. She then appointed Edwil Nacional to further assist me. As Edwil approached me, he pleasantly welcomed & greeted me with a smile & friendly eyes. Even though, Edwil was wearing a mask, I could still see that a smile was present. This greeting was indeed refreshing! Edwil was extremely personable & attentive as he asked me what exactly I was looking for. Instead of Edwil rushing & promptly trying to show me every single vehicle on PACIFIC HONDA'S lot, Edwil was patient & took the time to learn about my car interests to build rapport. Edwil's product knowledge was rather exceptional! After Edwil & I discussed my vehicle interests, he then proceeded to show me all of the vehicles that matched my needs. In the meantime, my Mazda 6 was being viewed for an appraisal. In the midst of this process, I was torn between two vehicles. Thanks to Edwil's product knowledge, I was able to make a decision, without the feeling of settling. I felt no pressure with my final decision. The vehicle was perfect! & I loved the color! At this point, Edwil continued to provide outstanding customer service effortlessly! Now, it was time for the financials. The part of the car buying process that everyone dreads, & for good reason! Needless to say, I was to return the following business day to proceed with the trade-in process. On August 17, 2020, Edwil gave me a courtesy call to confirm our set appointment for that morning. Upon arrival to PACIFIC HONDA, again, Edwil kindly welcomed & greeted me! As we proceeded with the deal, an unforeseen & unpleasant experience, circumstances, complications & frustrations arose while dealing with financial manager, Alex Shu. Meanwhile, Edwil continued to remain professional, kind, patient, supportive, dedicated, determined, sweet, & compassionate! He was there with me every single step of the way, ensuring that my needs were met. I remember him telling me to smile & that we will work everything out. Edwil truly & honestly went above & beyond to make sure of that! He then consulted his manager, David Hata for further assistance. On the verge of tears, I then felt a sign of relief. Because of Edwil, I was able to smile again! He displayed that he genuinely & truly cared about my well-being & me being able to get the vehicle I had desired. Solely because of Edwil Nacional's incredibly exceptional customer service throughout this entire process, I decided to proceed with the trade-in. I am ever so grateful for Edwil's kindness, knowledge, patience, guidance, support, dedication, determination, & compassion! He treated me with the upmost respect! I wasn't just another number or deal to Edwil, I was treated as a human. My experience at PACIFIC HONDA was indeed bittersweet! Edwil definitely provided the sweet & more! Edwil's customer service is commendable! & honestly, I couldn't thank him enough for all of his continuous dedication, support & determination to make sure that I was satisfied & left with the Honda Accord that I truly desired! I'm going to be honest, I don't usually write reviews unless I am fueled to do so through anger (and thus a lack of brain power to stop actions I may regret later lol) at a negative experience, BUT! The thought of buying a car gave me huge anxiety and this site helped me find a dealership that didn't exude a scary used car salesman aura. I am sooooo happy I went here. Buying a car during a pandemic?? Not ideal, but I wasn't about to spend 2.5 hours of my day, everyday, just to commute to and from my new workplace on the bus. I had Edwil help me out and while I did some research on my own, he was so understand and helpful and PATIENT! He asked me questions to ensure the car I thought was right for me, was actually the perfect fit...(I got a fit lol) and even when I was decided on getting it, he encouraged me to drive it around so I would be doubly sure. I think he could sense my hurry to just have a car :p Plus!! They have a coffee machine that actually works and is free. I know, not the most important feature when buying a car, but I've yet to be offered this when checking out other dealerships. Also! It is so clean and new looking! Everyone I dealt with from my salesman Edwil, the managers Bob and Alex that checked over everything, and Rob who helped with my loan were so friendly! I'm ultimately glad I just have a car, but I am excstatic that it is my cute baby fit! And I'm grateful to have had a positive experience buying a car. It's a big thing, it should feel good, and it did! I highly recommend anyone wondering which Honda to go to, to go to this one first. - Sally B More
Worst Experience and Classic Bait and Switch! Went to Pacific Honda to possibly buy a 2018 Acura RDX that was advertised as an Acurawatch Plus feature included in the car. We were told that we could not test drive the car due to Covid restrictions until we agreed on the price. As Brian the salesperson stated it is a state law. After negotiating on an agreed price. We test drove it and it drove great. With that said when I was looking for the Acurawatch Plus features, they were not in the car!! Upon my return I let Brian know. I asked him again why I wasn't able to drive before we negotiated and he again said it was State Covid laws. I don't blame Brian for the false advertisement because he is not the one posting the cars online. I asked other dealers and friends who work at other dealerships and they said they never heard that before during Covid restrictions I should have known better to drive the car, especially used, before I negotiated. What normally happens during Covid is the dealership makes a copy of your drivers license and your auto insurance card. This did not happen. If this is a Pacific Honda dealership rule shame on you! Brian stated that the VIN indicated that the Acurawatch Plus was in the car so it wasn't their fault. This was a boldface lie! The main reason why I am posting this is I don't want anyone else to go through what I went through especially after an hour and a half of wasted time! Basically a bait and switch tactic in my opinion. They tried to ask if I wanted some compensation since the features were not in the car. No way!! More

7 weeks later, no registration I bought my car in November 2019. 8 weeks later, our registration still hasn't even been delivered to the DMV. He is an excellent communicator as well and easily understandable regarding the situation with our car. Ron also ordered the right part needed and informing us it was needed because of the corrosive effect of the blue particles/powder from the battery area. We appreciate his expertise and excellent service performed from the very first time we worked with him. Ron was very informative and offered a few obliging suggestions to keep my 2015 Honda CRV car at its best for a while until next service. 8) *In the past 12 years plus, we’ve had excellent service in a long period with Honda Windward with Kevin Juan, who left Honda for new venture opportunity; yeah…we’ve felt displeasure to see Kevin Juan, who left-Windward Honda for other opportunity! * 9) This was our company’s first time to bring my 2015 Honda to Pacific Honda to get service. Ron has a good spirit & good character, it was a grand experience on the 30th, we both agents enjoyed Ron’s smiles and enthusiasm on his working area. Oh…in fast fashion and asking Ron if he receive our business card and some of our business’ information about our company, which is ‘to mean our company’s car needs to be in good condition at all time and we glad Ron gave us excellent services. We can feel that he listens to our problems. In one incidence in our conversation, I said to him, ‘saving one soul at a time’, which means he is saving us from ANGUISH STATES OF MIND when our company’s car is not in working states- battery was full of blue dust, and with bubbles around the entire battery’s surface. 10) We’re grateful of his effort along with his team in Pacific Honda in assist us to clean the battery area with the right tool. He also explained a couple possible ways that water could get in there. Either by human error, or mechanical error. He is truly there to save/service our car/public servant. He has a heart of professional business spirit, which is what we need in the situation of in needs to meet our Real Estate businesses’ appointments. Ron is a great advisor to work with and our company highly recommend him at Pacific Honda to our clients, personal friends, relatives, and our business friends. And recommend people to Honda’s selling department business through Ron as well. 11) Finally, my agent Robert Castro and I were very impressed with Ron’s outstanding knowledge of car parts and his team of mechanics at Pacific Honda service department. Ron is an ingenious advisor and we hope to show to the world of his devotion in Pacific Honda.
