If you are looking for a dealer to waste your time on, then look no further than Pacific Honda. I reached out to this dealer on a Wednesday with the intent to purchase a vehicle from them, I was initially then look no further than Pacific Honda. I reached out to this dealer on a Wednesday with the intent to purchase a vehicle from them, I was initially informed they could hold the vehicle for 24 hours as I was looking to purchase it from a bordering state (Arizona). After I had asked if the hold could be extended to 48 hours to give me ample time to make work arrangements to get there, the used sales manager decided they could hold the car for 6 hours at most. So on Friday I informed them I would be getting there ASAP Saturday to pick up the vehicle. Saturday morning I am en route to the airport to take a flight there and I receive a call stating the vehicle actually has a recall so it cannot be sold until Monday. I asked if I could purchase the car outright since no one had purchased it yet and was informed that they cannot sell it to me until Monday and asked me to come there as they “do not sell vehicles unless it is in person”. Come Monday morning I call again to try to talk to someone to purchase the car and hold it until I can get to it and am informed that they cannot do a single thing with the car until the recall is finished and to call back later. I call again at approximately 3pm and am informed the recall was finished and the car was purchased. Clearly this dealer is only interested in wasting the time of individuals who have to make travel and work arrangements to try to do business with them and rather than explaining that things are unavailable, let individuals waste money to make arrangements. Don’t waste your time. More
Every time I come to this dealership, I feel taken advantage of. My last visits here were bad, & today I came for simple oil change. Was told 2-2.5 hrs but in reality, it’s more like 3.5-4 hours. Went to Pacific Honda to test drive a car I was interested in. When I arrived, there was noone around to acknowledge my presence. I went inside, still noone there to even greet me. There was a s interested in. When I arrived, there was noone around to acknowledge my presence. I went inside, still noone there to even greet me. There was a sales person in his private office on the phone. I waited for him to finish his conversation. When he finally finished, I let him I had an appointment to test drive a car. He had to get the key from another lot, so I had to wait another 5 minutes which I didn't mind. It gave me time to check the car out. After the test drive, we started talking about numbers. He took my car to get it appraised for trade in. Waited another 25-30 minutes only for them to come back with a lowball offer. I was still interested in the car and I told Eduardo to run my application anyway just so we have an idea what the finance terms look like. He said he will followup with me later in the day. When I got back home, I sent him an email to let him know there are a couple other cars I was interested in and asked him to run the numbers. I never heard back from him. Well, guess what? I bought a car somewhere else. More
Bought a car from these guys and thought I was getting a solid deal from people who care. Don't buy in to these folks. They are seemingly caring up until you need them to follow through on their fake promis solid deal from people who care. Don't buy in to these folks. They are seemingly caring up until you need them to follow through on their fake promises. Richard, one of their finance guys who finalizes your paperwork will butter you up and make promises to make sure you're taken care of. After you're done purchasing every warranty under his guarantee, that the car he is selling you with; dings, windshield chips, paint chips, missing keys to the roof rack & missing caps in the engine bay... he will completely disappear on you. Don't worry though he will reach out to you if he needs your money, but not to fulfill his promises. A few weeks after having the car, check engine lights come on, we still haven't heard from him about our sealant or missing items and everyone at the dealership is running us in circles. Go to ford, ford sends us back, oh no go to ford, ford sends us back and only after aggravated phone calls did Samantha finally take care of us. We had another finance manager lie and say he tried to reach out to us about outstanding services they owed us and after 9 months of calling and asking we decided to talk to somebody in person. Samantha and Jeremy are the only lights in this dimly lit place. I believe she is the finance director and he is the service manager. Don't do business here. These guys will do little to make sure you're taken care of and will lie through their teeth to get your money in their pockets and you out of their face. Don't buy cars from Richard. The fact they still have him on after we told management about his lies is a mystery. More
This truly saddens me. We have purchased 4 CRVs from this dealership; This 4th car, a 2000 CRV EX, is an ongoing electronic mess. The car is unreliable, now failing to start and having continuous electronic glitches. This is at least the third visit to the dealership with all previous visits resulting "no problem found" and "it's ready to go!" This situation is totally unacceptible for a new car (3-year Honda Lease) barely 2 years old and less than 20K miles total. We know 2 owners of our previous CRVs, and both cars are totally reliable, neither ever being plagued with anything remotely close to a serious, recurring issue. I note several comments regarding the communication issue with this dealership, which I totally concur with and have personally experienced. I recently searched the Internet regarding Lemon Law action regarding leased vehicles, noting the law applies thereto in CA. No matter which action I pursue, I would never recommend this dealership nor would acquire another vehicle from. The HONDA product is apparently not what it once was! Ron A SMITH PS - A follow-up note is that I attempted to contact SUNROAD Automotive, the franchise ownership group. In attempting to do so, I was redirected to the BMW dealership in El Cajon. My take; perhaps,SUNROAD is more responsive to higher end products and less so regarding less valued makes. JUST MY IMPRESSION! More

Horrible communication skills from the management department to service advisor. I Dropped of my vehicle for a SAFETY RECALL (airbag) a day before so they could take all day for the repair. Upon not department to service advisor. I Dropped of my vehicle for a SAFETY RECALL (airbag) a day before so they could take all day for the repair. Upon not hearing from anyone and having to call and asked for a call back. Since I didn’t get a call I showed up late afternoon and to my surprise I was told that the service was not done due to needing my permission to unlock the glovebox. When I asked why didn’t anyone contacted me to inform me of the situation there was no answer. Very disappointing since this hasn’t been the first time but I’ve been a Pacific Honda for a very long time. This definitely will be the last time I ever step foot into this facility. More
I purchased a used vehicle from Pacific Honda in August. I received a "Due Bill" to have a part replaced on the interior of the door. No big deal. After not hearing anything for a week I followed up. I was I received a "Due Bill" to have a part replaced on the interior of the door. No big deal. After not hearing anything for a week I followed up. I was given the run around by my sales person. I follow up for the next few weeks with no real answer of any sort. I always get a "I'll call you back." Never did receive a call back of any sort. Over a month after purchase I finally get through to a manager. Turns out the part was never ordered. Dope. He says they'll get it ordered and give me a call. Never did. I replaced the part myself last week. Cost $50 and took me about 3 minutes. Thanks guys. Appreciate the service. Absolute trash. Way to uphold your end of a agreed upon contract. More
