Recently had an issue with paint bubbling off on my 2020 Jeep Wrangler JLU. From the website I requested a warranty claim but never got a response. Ended up taking it in and was told that they didn't have Jeep Wrangler JLU. From the website I requested a warranty claim but never got a response. Ended up taking it in and was told that they didn't have an authorized body shop and to take it to Cross to have it repaired. Went there and was told that they only take care of customers that had purchased their vehicle from them and that I needed to go back to Oxmoor as they were the ones that sold it to me. Very long story short, after several trips to the dealership and several emails Oxmoor refused to take care of my issue. Ultimately, the Regional Sales Rep had to convince Shelbyville Jeep Chrysler to open up a case with Jeep and have the body shop that they use to do the repairs. From what I learned from the process is that it's a pain to get Jeep to pay for these repairs and sometimes the dealership is left eating the costs. All the Dealerships that I was sent to from Oxmoor said the same thing and that they took care of the issues from customers that they sold to. It literally too Shelbyville Jeep 5 minutes to open and get approval from Jeep to take care of the issue. Oxmoor maintains that their hands are tied and can't take care of their customers. Update September 2023 I have a new issue with paint oxidation and once again was told by Oxmoor that they don't do warranty repair and no other assistance in a resolution. Had an open claim with Jeep for a month now and still nothing. They are still waiting on the Area Manager to find a dealership willing to do the repairs. More
