Broken lift gate cylinder 2018 Durango Wouldn't honor warranty or even offer to repair. was told by a service manager "i'm 99.9% sure Chrysler wont cover this because we have never seen one Wouldn't honor warranty or even offer to repair. was told by a service manager "i'm 99.9% sure Chrysler wont cover this because we have never seen one of these fail" then insulted us by insinuating that our story about the cylinder breaking was not true. Be aware that if your lift cylinder breaks the other small gas charged cylinder on the other side will not support the weight of the lift gate and it will fall. Sounds like a safety liability to me. Buy from a dealer that cares enough to at least try and help the customer after the sale. they do still exist. More

Our insurance company offered a financial incentive towards our purchase because of our longstanding relationship with them.
