Found a 2018 TOYOTA Tacoma for sale on the Battefield FORD Manassas VA website Sunday night. Monday morning,I promptly was contacted by a different salesman than the one on the website??? I told them abo FORD Manassas VA website Sunday night. Monday morning,I promptly was contacted by a different salesman than the one on the website??? I told them about my interest in the Tacoma. They immediately started to ask how I would purchase the vehicle. Tuesday we discussed my loanability. The Finance person took my application. I have strong credit etc etc. They asked me for proof of auto insurance , which I gave. They discussed how they "finish" (pick up vehicle= take delivery)the sale. ( I live 6 hours away @375 miles.) Once the application was done Wednesday. They applied to a bank and a Credit Union, on my behalf. ( I gave them permission. ) The finance person contacted me with results that the credit union said no,but the bank said Yes. He could get me a six year loan at 4.09%. People should know dealers make money on the car loans they create, too. I told him market rate for that where I live is 2.14% for the same purchase ( AT MY CREDIT UNION). I didn't tell him I was approved. He told me to get back to salesman to take delivery. When I contacted the salesman, I asked about purchase price. I told him they never asked me what I wanted to pay, over 3 days of communication, and numerous phonecalls and emails. I told the salesman I wanted to pay $37,000 on their listing of $38,500. His response was the price is the price. Internet sales are just that, the price, that's it. When I continued on with a fair discussion on my valuation, my background with Toyotas ( this would be my household's 14th Toyota over 30 years), he wasn't interested. I finally after another discussion of 10 more minutes, I inisisted he discuss my offer with a manager. He agreed to do so, and get back to me by 6pm same day.... No callback, that day at all. OK..... Next, Day 1, no callback, no emails, but a message that my truck was ready , when would I want to pick it up on the next day? ( REMEMBER I live 375 miles away....) Next, Day 2, since I had not heard anything all day,... I emailed salesman at 5pm asking for status of my request? My phone rang with Battlefield FORD caller ID # on it at 6pm... but before I could pick up, the call was dropped...( by them?) I waited for the phone to ring again, never happened... Nor did the sale. Never got to discuss my offer. P.S. A day later I went to Northway Toyota in Latham, NY. There I got a 2021 Toyota TACOMA ,three years NEWER, and 24,000 LESS miles for only $4,000 more. NO hassle. My wife and I did the whole transaction in an hour. More
Terrible dealer. Terrible prices with their amazing “no haggle pricing!”. If you’re looking to get insulted and nasty with a manager, Hans is your go to guy. He touts 12 years experience in the auto sales haggle pricing!”. If you’re looking to get insulted and nasty with a manager, Hans is your go to guy. He touts 12 years experience in the auto sales industry but I have never met a more immature sales rep. I originally ignored these reviews and decided to look at a used truck and boy was I wrong. Stay away from this dealer at all costs. More

Buying a 2020 Ford Explorer Platinum-Buyer Beware I paid $60,0000 for a 2020 Ford Explorer Platinum. Little did I know that paying this amount for a new vehicle that lasted a little over 5 months and I paid $60,0000 for a 2020 Ford Explorer Platinum. Little did I know that paying this amount for a new vehicle that lasted a little over 5 months and 4600 miles. There is a fact that you need to know if you are considering this vehicle. I was driving home from the hospital and barely made it home a distance of 3.2 miles. Battlefield Ford ended up sending a tow truck to pick the vehicle up and take it to the dealership. When the service manager called me I was taken back by the information given to me by the service manager. Ford knew that this problem existed but did not issue a recall. They will only fix it if it fails and it does fail. It took them 4 days to fix the problem which included numerous sensors, fuel injector rails and the etc module. 1 week later after getting the vehicle back with 4.678 miles the Explorer gave up the ghost. 2nd Ford vehicle (2014 Focus) had a major transmission issue that was just legally settled. One note of warning if your Ford Explorer happens to make it past the warranty period you will be looking at a service bill of over $3,000 or more to fix it. Do not buy this vehicle with the 3.0l eco boost engine. You will be screwed like I was. More
Don't trust them! Was given an out the door quote on a used vehicle I found online via text. When I told the internet sales manager that the numbers didn't work and it Was given an out the door quote on a used vehicle I found online via text. When I told the internet sales manager that the numbers didn't work and it wasn't worth the 3 hour drive to his dealership, he replied - "Come see me and I'm sure we can find a way to make you a deal". When I arrived and received their offer, it was the same offer I received in the text. When I questioned why it was the same offer they said, "we are a no-haggle price dealership". Funny, it doesn't say that anywhere on their website and the sales manager certainly led me to believe that we could reach a "deal". When I told my salesman that I would not be purchasing the vehicle due to the price, he called the used car sales manager over. I was fully expecting, "What can we do to get you in this vehicle". Instead he told me to buy a car closer to my home and let me walk without even an apology for making me drive 200 miles (one way!). If you value your time and dealing with honest, trustworthy sales managers - DO NOT go to Battlefield Ford More
This dealership is a scam, i bought a Minivan from Imports auto of Manassas but my Minivan was financed by Battlefield Ford of Manassas. That lady sold me extended warranty from warranty solution, aft Imports auto of Manassas but my Minivan was financed by Battlefield Ford of Manassas. That lady sold me extended warranty from warranty solution, after a few months I realized I didn’t need extended warranty. In order to cancel that warranty and get refunded, the dealership has to send the cancellation request. I contacted the dealership and signed cancellation form and emailed it to Deedra mid December 2019, she emailed me back and said she will forward cancellation request to Warranty Solutions. It is March 2020 and my warranty hasn’t been canceled. I emailed them again and a person by the name of Maryanne Dwyer said she will follow up this issue. It has been a week that she hasn’t got back to me. They are scammers and lying, blaming each other to get away with their scams. If you do not want to be scammed, DO NOT SHOP AT BATTLEFIELD FORD OF MANASSAS. It is not worth the headache. If you don’t have enough time to drag them to the court, please don’t shop here, please let your family and friends know that they are scammers. More
Outrageous Labor Costs with no details Gigantic rip off. I brought my car in with a coupon for a $40 oil change, with the works. When my car was picked up, the invoice was for over $1,000 m Gigantic rip off. I brought my car in with a coupon for a $40 oil change, with the works. When my car was picked up, the invoice was for over $1,000 more than that. Almost $800 was labor alone. The invoice had little or no details on why the labor costs were so outrageous (changing a battery?). This is definitely the last Ford I will ever purchase. Every time service is done at this location, other items are "found" in order to inflate the bill. You would think that I would have learned not to get service done here since this is not the first negative experience I had here. I wish I could give less than 1 star. More
Dishonest, deceitful dealership, and lying salesmen/approach Salesman Pedro Canas deliberately and willingly lied to me about a used vehicle I drove SIX HOURS to come see. He assured me the vehicle was in excel Salesman Pedro Canas deliberately and willingly lied to me about a used vehicle I drove SIX HOURS to come see. He assured me the vehicle was in excellent condition and no rust anywhere on the vehicle multiple times. When I arrived to see the vehicle, there was extensive rust damage to the axles, fender wells, driveshaft, frame welds, A-arms and other parts of the undercarriage. The vehicle was listed in excellent condition and no mention of the rust was made in multiple conversations with Pedro Canas about this vehicle. Vehicle was only 3 years old with 31k miles and the rust was so bad, the metal on the frame was starting to peel and sounded hollow. The welds on the frame were so deep with rust, the metal was starting to deteriorate. They had re-painted some of the undercarriage to try and cover up the rust, but it was too extensive to fully conceal. Lying salesmen, unprofessional atmosphere inside the dealership, misrepresentation of vehicles, dishonest sales approach, deceiving pictures, among a myriad of other issues. Had to drive to a different "used lot" to see the vehicle I was interested in; they wouldn't even bring it to me once I had driven almost 300 miles one way to see the vehicle. Salesman Pedro Canas was unprofessional, dishonest, lied to get me to come see this vehicle and offered no explanation other than "it was raining and I couldn't get pictures of the undercarriage." If I'm driving 12 hours and spending thousands of dollars to purchase a vehicle, the least you could do is pull the vehicle inside and send me a few well lit photos. Do your business elsewhere, anywhere but Battlefield Ford Manassas. You'll be glad you did. More
Service is VERY expensive I had my F150 service’s here to fix a broken electric seat on the drivers side. I already knew what the issue was because I had something stuck under I had my F150 service’s here to fix a broken electric seat on the drivers side. I already knew what the issue was because I had something stuck under the seat when I moved the seat forward and it caused a few wires to get spliced. I told the service rep the issue and the technician looked at it. Well, when I got a quote for $1600 to replace it, I declined. Here is the worst part.... They charged me $134 to diagnose the problem!! Do NOT have your vehicle serviced here!! More
The worst customer service I have ever seen. I had a recall on my 2015 Escape and decided to take it to Battlefield Ford to have the recall and regular maintenance work completed. Purchased a new I had a recall on my 2015 Escape and decided to take it to Battlefield Ford to have the recall and regular maintenance work completed. Purchased a new Explorer from them a few years back and at that time, I would have given them five stars. I do not know what has happened to the dealership in the last few years, but I will never use their service department and based on that will not purchase a vehicle from them, Scheduled to drop the car off on the way to work early in the morning. Once I got there I could not find where the service drop off was. The address for the service department is listed but you have no way to know how to drop the vehicle off. Found out later it is in the back. No signage. No big deal. I left the vehicle at the Battlefield Quick Lane and called the service department later that morning. All good. I was told it would be ready by 4:00. I called back at 3:00 asking the status and they said it will be ready to go. Anyone who knows what Rt 28 is like in the afternoon knows that you avoid it if you have no reason to be on it. I added an additional 45 minutes to my one hour commute to pick up the vehicle. When I arrived they said the vehicle was not ready - waiting for the safety inspection - and I needed to come back the next day. This was after I was promised it would be ready twice earlier that day. I made the pilgrimage down 28 the next day to pick it up. Barely made it before closing. They had lost the coupon I had given them and would not honor that I had given it to them even though it was for only $10.00 off wiper blades. I ate it. I got the car and noticed on the way home that they had broken mt automatic seat positioning and lock when doing the recall on the door latches. I called the next day and told them of this and was told just to bring it back in. No apologies for having to take another couple of hours out of my day to do this. I dropped it off the next business day with a typed note that I would be by to pick it up at 3:30 that day. Called in the morning to confirm and they said no problem. Called back a little before 3:00 and was told they have not looked at it yet. They said they would have it later that afternoon. When I said I was promised 3:30 they just blew me off. I showed up a little before five and the person behind the desk literally pushed the paperwork and keys to me when I said I was here to pick up my vehicle. No apology for the extra time needed to fix their mistake nor even a have a good day. I asked for the Manager and was told they had gone home and he could not give me the service Managers full name nor did he know any of the Managers at Battlefield Ford. Bottom line is to stay away from this dealership. More
