This is for the service department. I have a 2018 Jeep Renegade that has been a horrible experience for me since I purchased it in May of 2021. I was notified numerous times about the vehicle losing oil pressure. I have been getting the run-around from Thompson since mid-October. Oil consumption testing, oil changes, etc. I spent $200 on an oil change and a diagnostic fee and they knew all along that I had a misfire in one of my cylinders and NEVER addressed the issue. Then on a road trip, my vehicle started to shake. I took it back to them because the oil was 2 quarts low and all 4 cylinders have gone bad! They know that the Renegade has a 60,000 mile warranty. I'm at 53,000 miles and they are going by "protocol" for the 4th time knowing I need a new engine. Trying to get me to spend $500 more than the parts on a 1.5 hour labor job. The engine now after I changed the spark plugs with a friend of mine, is completely done. I have to figure out where to go from here because they are too cheap to honor a factory warranty. Absolutely terrible service! I would give them a negative 10 if I could. This place will never get my business. "You buy a company?" More like "You buy a joke!" Ill be in touch with another dealer and everyone else about this! Buyer beware! More
Good service, but I have had to replace my oil filter housing twice now after getting oil changes. I find this troublesome and I am still waiting for a call from the rep I spoke to on Monday. Hello. This is my second time buying a car from this dealership. I used the same salesman both times. My salesman was very helpful in finding me a car both times.
