Greg Swick was my sales rep, he was very friendly and helpful. Rick, the manager also was very friendly and helpful. They worked with me on price to get within the range that I was willing to spend. The finance guy that I worked with, Herb, was very knowledgable and helpful. He was able to answer all the questions I had regarding the loan, my options and future plans that I had in regards to paying off the loan. Once the whole process was over, my "new to me" car was nicely detailed and looking pretty. The only thing that I would say was an opportunity was that my gas take was below half way full when I drove away. I think the car had been there for a little bit so I am sure it was just an oversight. Overall, my expierence was great with Thompson and I would definantly recommend Greg and Rick to a friend. More

Though purchasing cars is not suppose to be a positive and rewarding experience, it has become one with Lloyd Haak. He creates an environment of excellence in all departments. When we are told by Service that certain repairs are necessary, we feel that is an honest and careful appraisal of our car. We purchased a New 2009 Jeep Wrangler and also later a 2010 Jeep Grand Cherokee. We've purchased other Jeeps from the same dealer and have always been treated for the utmost respect. Our vehicle are given tender loving care.My mother-in-law and her sister ended up buying a new Grand Cherokee and are also treated very special. Thye go out of their way each time we visit their dealership. Recently, I needed special tires for my Jeep Wrangler. THe price and installation together was lower than Tire Rack. I called over the phone and a salesman named Ray answered the phone. I inquired on their inventory of Jeep Wranglers. He wanted my phone number to call me tomorrow with info on what they had in stock. When I the phone. I inquired on their inventory of Jeep Wranglers. He wanted my phone number to call me tomorrow with info on what they had in stock. When I asked him if that info was on the website he said "yes, good luck!" and hung up on me! I couldn't believe how rude he was! What kind of employees does this place hire! I called back to complain about this to the sales manager Todd but was pretty disappointed at his initial reaction. Definitely did not seem appalled at Ray's behavior. There is something wrong here with the management that would allow employees like this to treat customers in this way. More
They didn't lie about their inventory or use high-pressure sales tactics (just some run-of-the-mill sales BS that pretty much all dealers do), and the price I paid for my used car was fair, but high-pressure sales tactics (just some run-of-the-mill sales BS that pretty much all dealers do), and the price I paid for my used car was fair, but not outstanding. What makes me give the bad rating is simple: they did not treat me well after the sale. The car I bought did not have mats, but the salesman promised he would get me new mats the next business day. He failed to deliver on this, made some excuses and said he'd have them in another two or three days. That didn't happen either, and at that point he told me that he had ordered some and that they would be in a few days later. More time passed, and he blamed the UPS guy, etc, until it became clear that he had never placed an order (i.e., HE LIED). He then said he would send a purchase order out to another dealer that would have the mats. A few more days passed by and that didn't happen (LIED AGAIN) so I finally had to raise my voice a tell him it was ridiculous that I have had to keep calling him every other day for two weeks just to get mats, to which he replied in a VERY rude voice, "well if you want them so bad why don't you buy them yourself?" Keep in mind that he said this after repeatedly LYING to me and saying that the mats would be there in a day or two, that he'd ordered them, etc. After some more badgering by me he said he'd place the purchase order that Monday. On Monday he had just one factory mat, which he took from another car that had just come to the lot, and two plastic mats for me so I took those and washed my hands of the deal, but he never ordered any mats, which means he BALD-FACE LIED to me three times and made me wait forever, fight like hell, and get very upset, all over some silly mats. This is no way to build lasting relationships with your customers, and I won't be buying another car from him. More
