Overall ok. HOWEVER a bit of a problem when I paid for the car, but I was stuck. I agreed to a purchase price for a used car and was dropped off to pick it up. I had earlier requested to pay for the car entirely on my credit card, and was told no problem. After my ride departed I was told that I could only charge $2500 of the purchase pruice to my credit card and that the remainder needed to be check or cash. So while my desire was to pay for the car on credit card just for the airline miles, instead becasue my ride had departed and I was about 100 miles from home, I was stuck and needed to pay by check. A disappointed customer (although one with a good car). More
Deceptive and misleading. They advertised a new 2013 dodge grand Caravan for $16,995 on autotrader.com. Called, asked what the catch was, since it was priced $4,000 below msrp. We went to the dealership the next day, and again confirmed the price on autotrader to be sure. We test drove the vehicle, and asked them for a formal price quote. At that point, we were informed that if we qualified for a whole slew of random rebates, of which NO ONE would qualify for them all (future farmers of America, trading in a leased vehicle, employees of Chrysler, etc), THEN the price would be $16,995. Since I qualified for none of those rebates, the price to me is $20,995, or full msrp. They proceeded to offer me other used vehicles for the $16,995 price, which I, of course, refused. They called me back three times within an hour of leaving, telling me about other used cars they have for the price of the new car they advertised. They also told me that another car I was looking at from a competing dealer was a car that the competing dealer bought from them, and was wrecked. I found this to be particularly amusing. The carfax tells a completely different story, of course. Sam Sinclair, who is the person responsible for the autotrader ad, does nothing to counter the stereotypes that exist about car dealerships. I single him out because I honestly believe the salesman (Mark) didn't know about the rebates until after the test drive, and he appeared to be caught in the middle. If you expect more out of people than this, don't go here. More

We were then introduced to our salesman, Ed Langmead, who was very personable, pleasant and was definitely not your typical "pushy" salesman-type. It was just like talking to a neighbor or friend. He found us the car we were looking for, we test drove that vehicle, then sat down to talk. We also had a pleasant experience with Julie who was very open and honest with us regarding all of the extra warranties available to us and she also was not the "pushy" type. We then met with the financial expert, Herb. Once again, he was very pleasant to deal with. We finalized the deal and were out the door. More

We went to another dealer and were very unhappy with the sales approach. We called Thompson and spoke to Ed Langmead and made arrangements to meet Ed the next evening.
