I talked to the manager.... he said the charge $119.00 and didn't know where $143.00 came from (nor did he ask the Service Write that was standing 10 feet from him). Then he said that the first reprogram was $60.00 because they also did a "recall reprogramming," so I was only charged half price. Problem is they quoted me $60.00 when I called, before they knew there was a recall. I'm not asking for it to be done for free, just honesty and consistency of pricing. More

I brought my 2003 Caravan (197,000 miles) for an oil change and assessment of conditions. I knew that there were problems. He told me that, while they could do the work, a new vehicle could also be considered. He answered all my questions in a better than satisfactory manner and put no pressure either way. As it turned out, I did not have the service done - I bought a 2014 Caravan from Ourisman. At other places, I have sunk money into a car that was destined to fail anyway. This time, my cost was zero. So we stopped in seeking some advice. We arrived before they'd even opened yet (11:45) but that did not stop John Delio from helping us out. We explained the issue we were having and without hesitation, he jumped right in and worked with us to get the issue resolved. He then offered us coffee while he checked on an answer to another question we had; and all the while knowing that we had purchased the Jeep from a competing dealership. John treated us just as well as I'm sure he would've treated one of his own personal clients, I would highly recommend seeking John out if you're shopping for a vehicle in the Clarksville or surrounding area! I had a navigation system installed this morning and it was done in a timely manner. The wait was pleasant as they had a nice waiting area. I took my wife's car to Ourisman Chrysler Jeep Dodge in Clarksville, MD once for a recall. They stole the change from the car. I declared I would never return. (I know that's petty, but they should pay their people better than that!) Later, I had an urgent need to get my car worked on, and I wasn't able to drive it far (it wouldn't idle.) I decided to go to Ourisman because it was near my home. I gave them a list of a few other items that I was planning on having addressed. When Ourisman called me with the estimate, it was for over $4000.00 which was more than the car is worth. I was anticipating the work to be about $600 to $1000.00. Ourisman's estimate for the work that I actually requested them to do was overpriced ($1120 to replace 4 shocks.) Ourisman also wanted to "over-solve" some problems (replace 4 tires instead of 2.) In addition, Ourisman was recommending a lot of work for things I didn't request (Serpentine belt, tune up.) Some of Ourisman's "solutions" to my list of things to fix were unrelated to the problem. (Ex: I smell antifreeze steam in the cab when I am driving. Solution: Test the pressure in the radiator for $45.00. The pressure was good. --Now, I can see that the radiator isn't leaking by looking under my car. I suspect that there is a slow drip in the heating system's coils.-- Ourisman thought I should flush the radiator system for $120.00 more.) Even though I refused a lot of the stuff that Ourisman recommended, I had to pay "inspection fees" totaling $250. I left Ourisman very unhappy, $1000.00 poorer, and still smelling antifreeze fumes in my truck. I recommend that you stay away from Ourisman Chrysler Jeep Dodge! More
