We never met Declan Cohen or Ian Maher. We were very unhappy with the delivery of our new vehicle. We have purchased several vehicles over the years, and never has our new vehicle been park We were very unhappy with the delivery of our new vehicle. We have purchased several vehicles over the years, and never has our new vehicle been parked in the back of the dealership for delivery. We felt that the delivery specialist was in a hurry to get us out of there, and once we returned home, we realized why. Our front license plate and bracket was never installed on the vehicle, which is against the law in NY State. We were very uncomfortable driving this way, and were told we needed to drive back down, one hour away from our home again to correct Otto's mistake three days later, with no apology or consideration for the inconvience. More

Having a Cadillac has always been a dream of mine. I decided when I finally ‘made it’, I would get one. So when my lease was ending on my Nissan this year, my husband encouraged me to look at leasin I decided when I finally ‘made it’, I would get one. So when my lease was ending on my Nissan this year, my husband encouraged me to look at leasing a Cadillac. The last time we went to Otto, I never even had a test drive. The salesman looked at me as if I was completely out of my league and we sat in the car inside the store and talked. This time, my husband filled out the on-line questionnaire and with the lure of a $75 Amazon gift card, why not? My 2nd experience at Otto was much better. My salesman, Carlos, was very supportive. He encouraged me to test drive as many cars as I wanted. We went over all the options, what I liked and what I didn’t and he was able to steer me to a vehicle that they had in the loaner pool. It would be a good value because they could take $ off the top, and since my husband is a 1st responder with a GM supplier discount, they could work something out in my favor. After discussion with the Business Manager, he said they could not honor both the 1st responder and the GM supplier, but they quoted me a price I could live with. We were excited and pleased. On the day of delivery, the sign and drive experience started to get uncomfortable. The On-Star activation was annoying. Not Otto’s fault but in order to extend the 6 month trial to an 8 month trial, they wanted our credit card information. It’s like one of those subscriptions that you will forget about until they hit your card. Next it was onto the “add on” service packages for all the things that are not covered on the car. As a lessee; I always get regular oil changes and tire rotations when they are due. I take excellent care of all my cars – even if I don’t own them – because it’s a reflection on me. But it was another money grab as the pitch became pushy and rose to the level of bullying when the business manager asked me what would my husband tell me to do if he were there? Hmmm. He would tell me to walk, and I told him so. After that the conversation was awkward and I felt like the fun of finally getting a Cadillac was ruined. I regretted my decision during the entire drive home. Since then, we found a few small dimples in the passenger side door and two tiny paint chips on the back door. Evidently this ‘loaner’ car had some careless drivers. I’ve waited exactly a week to write this review and I still feel the same way. I’m looking for another GM dealership for service simply because I don’t want to go back there. You only get one chance at a first impression and I gave them two. Carlos Lopez was the best part of the entire experience so if you’re looking for a Cadillac at Otto, work with him. More
