Sheryl, I'm so sorry that you feel you had a one star experience. My team really strives everyday to provide great customer service but sometimes fall short. It is true that we do not except competitor's coupons or combine digital and printed coupons for the same service. I'm afraid there was a misunderstanding regarding the price. With the available $10 discount the correct price is $59.95. Sahar, I'm so sorry you feel you had a poor experience. As a member of the community for about 40 years, we do our very best every day to provide great customer experiences. I had an opportunity to speak with the team that you worked with during your two visits. While you did negotiate the selling price of a new 2021 CX5, (getting an outstanding deal by the way) before leaving a deposit, you apparently didn't take into account the APR and financing charges and how they impact your monthly payment. Your purchase was structured with the Special APR offered this month by Mazda Financial Services. You wanted a better rate. While no better rate existed for the terms you wanted, we offered to split an ADDITIONAL discount to better fit into your financial limitations. At the end of the day, we were unable to come to an agreement. A check request was sent to our accounting office the next day to refund your deposit. While refunds are usually processed at the end of each month, I will ask my office to make an acceptation and process your refund early next week. I would be happy to discuss further should you like. Thank you for your prompt response but this is not what happenned, this is what they claim had happenned. We did negotiate the APR and wrote everything down as a preliminary agreement including the APR and signed it. While signing the papers, they said the APR the associate negociated with us does not exist and that he was not aware of the change!!! We asked them to honor the pre-written and signed agreement but they refused. Also, they should have made us aware of this issue before making us sign all the papers and get ready to pick up the car!!! They are totally unprofessional!

While we try to accommodate every guest's unique schedules, without a deposit on a specific car of interest we do our very best to hold the car until an agreed upon appointment time. When another party showed an interested for the same car you inquired about, you were given a courtesy call with another opportunity to leave a deposit and/or to get to the dealership ahead of the scheduled appointment. Especially during these unique times when there is an unusually high demand for pre-owned cars, we suggest to everyone (both in person and over the phone/internet) that they leave a deposit to hold a car until an agreed upon appointment time. We don't believe this is unreasonable considering the higher than normal demand for all of our quality pre-owned cars and certainly should not be categorized as "disgusting dealer antics".
