I was scrambling to get a new E90 335i M sport with 6 speed manual transmission, a spec that is no longer in production. I inquired online and had several responses from different dealers. When I sent back what I was looking for, only Open Road of Edison followed up. I contacted the Sales Manager (Justin Patel) via email and received a very polite response shortly. I told Justin what I was looking for and immediately provided 3 cars for me to choose from, and of course, the one I chose was located the farthest. Justin was able to secure the car for me and had it ready for pick up shortly. During this whole process which seem very ordinary, Justin had done the following: 1) Per my preference, all communications between me and Justin were done via email or phone, I was never asked to come in their dealership. 2) Because of my schedule, I was only able to send follow up emails late at night. Justin always replied quickly, no matter what time it was. 3) When I decided on the car, I wanted to speak to Justin via phone to make sure there where no misunderstandings in our back and forth emails. Justin made himself available as early as the following day, which was a Sunday. 4) I called him around 2 pm and was able to get comfortable with the deal. During this time, Justin was at the airport waiting for his flight to Florida for his vacation. During his break, he followed up more than a couple of times. 5) On the day I was getting the car, we were hit by a snow storm. First I said I wouldnt be able to get it, but changed my mind in the afternoon - no problem, Justin got it out of the warehouse. 6) When I got to the dealership, after numerous emails and phone calls for over 3 weeks, I finally met both my car and Justin in person for the first time. In the trunk, Justin had included lots of accessories including floor mats, several key chains, license plate holders, a fashionable scarf (who knew!!), and there is also a box in the trunk that I have not opened yet - I know he told me what it was but I forgot. More
