DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM HERE OR USE THE SERVICE DEPT They sold me a brand new lemon with the transmission going out and they don't care. The day after I bought my car they listed a nicer model with an up They sold me a brand new lemon with the transmission going out and they don't care. The day after I bought my car they listed a nicer model with an upgraded package for $5,000 less than what I paid. I received my new car dirty.. There was syrup on the door and a huge stain on the driver's seat so I told them about it and they apologized and detailed my car again. My car was damaged in that time period and is now unsafe to drive. Not only was my engine damaged but they ripped out some tube out from under my driver's seat and just left it there. My 2016 Fusion SE accelerates rapidly when I brake like the car doesn't want to stop. And RPMs go to the red zone when I push the gas at intersections but the car will be doing 10mph. The car is MUCH slower than when I purchased. I took the car back for an electronic throttle shift recall the first month I owned it plus the RPMs jumping while braking and the car was in their shop for 3 weeks. The first 6 days it just sat there and I never received a phone call or update. The 7th day they called and said pick it up they can't find a problem. I went back and forth with Martin (service manager) and he was extremely rude and unprofessional. Told me if I didn't take the car he would charge me rental fees (I paid $3,000 extra for rental coverage, he's a jerk). A service tech came in during our argument and said the Internet was flooded with people having this issue and that they crash into other cars because it accelerated while braking. I told Martin I didn't feel safe driving this car and that if he wants me to drive it he needs to put it in the computer that's he's sending me away in a dangerous vehicle. He said we'll let the lawyers decide. I told him that's ridiculous and to just enter it in the system and his computer magically shut off and he said he wanted to keep it another day. 4 days later he called and said pick it up, they did nothing but lawyer up. I told him to consider what his service tech advised and he said "it's a ford problem not our problem." My NEW car was in the shop for 30 of the 60 days the temp tags were on it. I told Martin about lemon laws in place for situations like this and he insisted there was nothing I could do because he refused to acknowledge a problem on paperwork so the 4 weeks (total) it's been in the shop won't count toward lemon laws. He is a con man. UPDATE: car was in the shop for another 30 days and nothing was done except fixing the tube they broke and left under my seat from the last service visit. The first 15 days nobody called me back to update even though I tried to contact the service dept numerous times via phone and email. On the 15th day I complained on Facebook and the GM contacted me saying he was sorry nobody called because it was his fault he was "crunching numbers" to buy my vehicle back. I was thrilled to never have to deal with this again. Called him back that day and confirmed they were buying it back even though I didn't want another ford like he insisted. Waited until Friday to call back since I was never contacted. He stated Friday that he never said he would buy it back (lies) but they made a case with Ford. Ford won't buy it back because the dealership won't acknowledge the transmission problems on paper so the 8 weeks my car has been in the shop doesn't count towards lemon laws. This dealership needs to be shut down. They're sending me away (multiple times) in a dangerous vehicle that I'm scared to drive at this point. My car was in the shop 30 days and they barely changed the oil. Claimed to replace 2 speakers when they didn't (they're still blown) and claimed to top my fluids off. I have proof they've done none of that :( PLEASE DON'T BUY YOUR CARS HERE AND IF YOU DO, PAY THE EXTRA $3000 FOR LOANER COVERAGE. YOU'RE GOING TO NEED IT! More

Recall Fiasco Service - I had a Ford Recall notice to get a modem replaced, and the letter indicated it should be an hour-long process. After several phone calls, b Service - I had a Ford Recall notice to get a modem replaced, and the letter indicated it should be an hour-long process. After several phone calls, being put on hold for a total of at-least 1 hour, 6 DAYS of not having my vehicle, and the frustration of dealing with excuse after excuse, I finally had my car back. The receptionist and phone etiquette across the board was rude and highly unprofessional. The delays were inexcusable and the part should have been on-hand when I dropped the car off (it was a week before I could even get it on the schedule, which was ample time to get the part needed delivered to the service center). I will never return to the Olathe Ford Service center, nor will I ever recommend it to anyone. My advice is to find a different dealer that is more professional and customer-friendly - even if it means you have to drive another 30 minutes out of your way. Terrible experience. More

It takes time to fix, cost money, etc. and it is typically on your personal time off. I have learned that if man built it… it will break… it is just a matter of time and how much it is going to cost me. That is why we all hate taking our vehicle in for service in my opinion. That being said, I have been taking my vehicles to Olathe Ford for 20 years now and I can truly say that if my vehicles need the repairs it is because they needed it. Sometimes it was for preventive maintenance to reduce the risk of what could break down. I can say from my own 20 plus years in the retail business that good people are so hard to find and when you walk into Olathe Ford and see some of the same people you have been seeing for the last 20 years that has to say something about the ownership. I have a 16 year old boy now driving and we just got another vehicle from them to add to the family. I can say that I look forward to his first oil change to pass on the torch. Thanks Olathe Ford for everthing. More
