** Updated ** 04/23 Everything here is my experience with Ocean Cadillac. I purchased a new Cadillac at this dealership, which acts worse than a small Hialeah dealer and has zero professionalism for re with Ocean Cadillac. I saw, I am getting overcharged with various fees that are not for any valid services.The next explanation will be in CAPS so the important parts are noticeable THIS IS WHAT HAPPENED ON MY DEAL AND I WANT TO HELP PEOPLE. OCEAN CADILLAC AT LEAST FOR MY DEAL CHARGED ME A $999.00 PRE-DELIVERY SERVICE CHARGE AND $139.95 ELECTRONIC REGISTRATION FILING FEE. THE TEAM SAID IS BASIC CHARGES FOR EVERY DEAL AFTER I COMPLAINED ABOUT IT, THE WORDS USED, MAKE IT ALL SOUND LIKE MANDATORY FEES AND THAT ARE NEEDED FOR YOUR CAR DEAL, PLEASE NOTE IS NOT, AGAIN IS NOT, THIS IS JUST EXTRA PROFIT FOR THE DEALER AND YOU CAN REFUSE TO PAY IT... BEFORE DEALERS CALLED IT "DEALER FEES" BUT NOW SOME USE CREATIVE LANGUAGE TO MAKE IT SOUND LIKE A VALID EXPENSE, IS TRICKY. ON MY DEAL AND IS IMPORTANT TO CHECK, IF YOU ARE FINANCING, THREE THINGS.1. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE ON YOUR DOCUMENT THE BANK YOU AGREED TO FINANCE WITH, FIRST THEY PRESENTED ME A TRUIST BANK PROPOSAL, I ASKED THEM FOR MORE OPTIONS AND HUNTINGTON BANK CAME WITH A LOWER INTEREST RATE, I TOLD THEM I WANT TO MOVE FORWARD WITH HUNTINGTON BANK BECAUSE OF A CHEAPER APR , THEY SAID YES OK, GUESS WHAT? I GOT THE CAR PAYMENT BILL FROM TRUIST BANK, REALLY BAD AND UNPROFESSIONAL BECAUSE IT WAS AGREED TO BE HUNTINGTON BANK. 2. YOU DON'T HAVE TO FINANCE THE CAR WITH THEM,. AGAIN YOU DON'T HAVE TO. YOU CAN PROBABLY SHOP AROUND AND FIND A CHEAPER INTEREST RATE, THEY MAKE EXTRA PROFITS IF YOU GET A LOAN WITH THEM AND IF YOU BUY EXTRA WARRANTIES ETC, BUT YOU DON'T HAVE TO, IF YOU CAN GET A BETTER INTEREST RATE OUTSIDE, DO IT. 3. DOUBLE CHECK YOUR CONTRACT PRICE AND FINANCE CONTRACT PRICE.ON MY CONTRACT PRICE THERE WAS ONE PRICE AND ON MY FINANCE PRICE THEY ADDED AN EXTRA $144.00 WHICH IS REALLY MISLEADING MAKE SURE YOUR FINANCE PRICE MATCHES YOUR CONTRACT PRICE, IN MY CASE THEY ADDED MORE MONEY TO THE FINANCE CONTRACT, WHICH AS OF NOW IT LOOKS LIKE MORE PROFIT FOR THE DEALER. THE DEALER NEEDS TO MAKE MONEY, OF COURSE........ BUT USING ALL THESE TACTICS TO GET EVERY DOLLAR FROM A CLIENT IS EXTREMELY BAD, THERE IS A LOT OF DEALERS THAT ARE COMPLETELY TRANSPARENT AND OFFER YOU THE VIP TREATMENT. CHARGING PREDELIVERY SERVICE CHARGE, ELECTRONIC REGISTRATION FILING FEES (WITH LANGUAGE TO MAKE IT SOUND AS MANDATORY) WHEN IN FACT IS EXTRA PROFIT FOR THE DEALER, USING BANKS THAT i DIDN'T AGREED TO FINANCE WITH, INFLATING THE FINANCE CONTRACT PRICE FOR EXTRA PROFIT, IS NOT GOOD AT ALL FOR ME. ** Again, everything here is my experience and does not mean that it can happen to you ** but i do want to share my review maybe it helps someone.
