We did not need a third car (as we have already have 2 cars) till summer (when my older son would be back from college). But, Bolt EV was having great discounts and we decided to buy the car. We also knew that their was a $1,500 CT state cash back that one could get for the car. We gave a price that we were willing to pay for the car. The price was accepted immediately. We confirmed a couple of times that we will still be getting the CT state $1,500 cash back. The salesperson stated that we would be entitled to that money when we file our taxes. We went to sign the papers. One of the papers stated that the price of the car includes the $1,500 CT state cash back. They were giving the dicount to us when they agreed to the price of the car and they will get that money back. So, we felt misinformed as the price that we had agreed on included the $1,500 CT state discount. We should have walked off. We had already started signing the papers. I guess the subtle pressure made us complete the process of buying the car. I did not expect that a car dealer would ask us to sign papers to give the CT state discount of $1,500 to them. I guess next time I will be prepared to walk off when a car dealer does something similar. More

Car Biz Auto Body I do NOT recommend this auto body. I have worked with them multiple times usually through insurance. The one time I decide to pay out of pocket they c I do NOT recommend this auto body. I have worked with them multiple times usually through insurance. The one time I decide to pay out of pocket they charge me over $3K and took over 2 months to fix my car. They ordered the wrong part multiple times and left me driving with no turn signals for over 2 months! They never once offered a loaner or even apologized for their mistake. Once the body work was done and the correct wire was replaced I then found my locks on my passenger door no longer worked. I have since found a new Chevrolet dealer that cares about its clients. They found my wiring was not done properly which costed me an additional few hundred dollars. Car Biz does not take pride in their work clearly. Very Unhappy and will NEVER return. More

I started at their website to see what was available in my price range that fit my requirements., I called Charlie Melnick in sales and set up an appointment. Of the 2 cars I looked at, one clearly stood out and after test driving the car was sold. I liked that there was "no game playing". Straightforward, honest man, that's Charlie Melnick. When we picked up the car Lou, the finance man, went through all the finalized paperwork. No hidden ambiguous fees. He even had a wireless rearview camera installed at my husband's request. Charlie put the plates on, and took time to go over all the operating features and set up the OnStar before we left the lot. Very happy experience. More
