I got the model I wanted with exactly the accessories added that I needed. David also spent a lot of time going over the cars electronics with me. It is like buying a computer. He also told me not to hesitate to come back in if I have more questions. I have purchased at least 4 Hondas here over the years. I keep coming back because they make it so easy and the service department is honest. More
Was looking at buying a Toyota Rav4 Hybrid but just about every Toyota dealership had some crappy saleman trying to upsell the Rav4 upwards to $7k. He didn't try to hustle me with a 3% over MSRP like the Toyota dealerships did. I drove off the lot within 48 hours with a new 2023 Honda CRV Hybrid. Stan didn't try to hustle me. After 20 years of driving Toyotas I'm Honda driver now. Don't be a chump. Buy from O'Donnell Honda. Ask for Stan Bailey. More
I purchased my vehicle from here when there wasn’t much inventory on the lots. Over the phone my experience was excellent but when I came in person it was lackluster to say the least. Fast forward to me needing my first oil change and I discover the service department is a giant SCAM. My customer service experience was horrendous but aside from that I was told my oil change would be free but my tire rotation was not. This was my first red flag as in all my years of owning cars I’ve never had to pay for my first oil change or tire rotation but I push through that. I get there when it opens and I wait for an hour and fifteen minutes only to discover that my tires were NOT rotated once I got home. I call and ask for a refund and the dude had the nerve to tell me that they can’t give me a refund for a service that was performed. I told him that the service was not performed so we can handle it now or I can file a dispute with my bank. He said he would talk to the tech and call me back. Once he calls me back he tells me that the tech only rotated one side of my car, the left side. I’m like so are they doing tire rotations differently now? He said he would give me my money back even though they were technically rotated. They don’t have to worry about me bringing my car back there again that is for sure. More

She then handed us over to Stanley Bailey who took it from there. He was awesome.He was patient but yet professional. He took the time to bring out all the cars we wanted to try. We were purchasing a car for my son. We test drove all of them. Stanley gave us options every step of the way even when some financing options weren’t best for his dealership. When it was time to finalize the sale he considered our time and told us to go and come back so we don’t have to wait. We finally came back when he called us and met with Rajeev who I honestly can’t see how anyone can be nicer than him. Ever pleasant and polite he makes you feel like a VIP buying from O’donnell Honda. Just awesome experience. I’m telling everyone to go buy a Honda at O’Donnells. More
Shopping for cars post-pandemic has really changed since the last time I purchased a new car in 2012. I knew inventories were low and expected months-long delay in delivery, paying above MSRP, or both. Fo the last time I purchased a new car in 2012. I knew inventories were low and expected months-long delay in delivery, paying above MSRP, or both. Fortunately, I had the luxury of time and I absolutely refused to pay above MSRP. Even better is that information and car shopping tools online have greatly improved. I was also able to narrow down my makes and models to 2 or 3 choices quickly through online research. Then it saved me additional hours of wasted time driving around and checking dealerships and hoping they had a demo model available to test drive. Once we made a decision on a Honda Civic, then it was shopping for the best price. The first and furthest place (1 ½ hours away) was asking $4,000 above MSRP and still had to wait months. The second place (1 hour away) gave me a runaround for an entire week before they gave me a quote that was $3,000 above MSRP but had the car in stock. Better but still undesirable. The third and closet place (20 minutes away) didn’t fool around – the price is MSRP plus taxes, tags/registration, and a nominal dealer fee. I should’ve started with them! They originally estimated 3 months for delivery, which was a conservative approach (under-promise and over-deliver is best). Ultimately, it took 2 months to deliver. This seems average for the current environment. Besides being absolutely reasonable, upfront, and honest with the price, they were also the best with communicative. I would almost always receive a response to a query within 3 minutes, which far exceeded my expectations. And he would always follow-up to ensure I had the answers I needed. He would provide status updates, such as when the order was officially accepted by the manufacturer, the VIN assigned, when it was scheduled to be built, when it was completed, estimated shipping and delivery of the vehicle, and working with me to prepare the paperwork the week before it arrived to ensure an efficient and fast processing when purchasing it the day of pick-up. He then installed my old tags onto the new car and walked me through the essential functions, highlighting the most common and new features that someone whose last vehicle was made 10 years ago might not be aware. I greatly appreciated the hands-on tutorials and guidance through the new technology and button layouts, as well as a walk around the car to ensure I knew where everything was located and how they operated, such as how to use the capless fuel tank and accessing the spare tire. The sales and finance staff were very proficient, professional, courteous, and friendly. Not once did I feel I was being taken advantage of or fooled into purchasing accessories or warranties I did not need. They certainly offered them, but there was absolutely no pressure or judgment. I wasn’t being nickled and dimed for every dollar they could squeeze out of me. In fact, they found an error in the original pricing sheet which included new tags, but since I was transferring my old ones they immediately caught and corrected it. This dealership, which I will absolutely recommend to my family, friends, neighbors, and co-workers is O’Donnell Honda in Ellicott City, MD. My sales representative is Alex Vinogradsky, who I also highly recommend. I was so impressed by their sales and support (they followed-up the day after to check in on how the car was and if I had any additional questions and never to hesitate with any future questions), that it will be my first place I go when purchasing another new vehicle.
