Look for other dealers first then go here last. I want to make a complaint about Volkswagen of Norwood. I went in to purchase a car few days ago, a 2019 Beetle they had in the showroom. I've had fa I want to make a complaint about Volkswagen of Norwood. I went in to purchase a car few days ago, a 2019 Beetle they had in the showroom. I've had fantastic experience with the salesman Jamahl Lewis, BUT not so much from Robert Lewis(business manager). He was demeaning throughout the whole process. When I declined the package options for my car, he asked over and over again, "REALLY??? REALLY??" with anger on his face. I probably have said no 20+ times over and over (I lost count), each time giving different reasons to make him stop. I know that Robert makes commission off of customers by selling packages, but being 'pushy' like a shark isn't the way to go. I almost cancelled the deal because of him, but gave them a chance. I walked back in his office to finish the deal, he asks me, "are you mad at me?~" Yep. I am. I actually SHOULD have cancelled the deal because as soon as I drove off with my new beetle right before the dealer's closing hours, the EPC light and Check Engine light came on. NOTE: THIS IS A BRAND NEW CAR. Since the dealer was closed, I had to wait till Saturday to get my car looked at.... I got there around 8:30 am...waited and waited till 11+ while they 'fixed' my car. The technicians told me that there is simply nothing wrong with the car, and that they just cleared the code and told me it was fine. I asked, "what if the light comes again..?" and the technician said that 'it won't.". What a waste of my TIME. I started driving off the dealership and within 10 minutes, the EPC light came on again. I returned to the dealer and was obviously distraught that I'm experiencing this... I had to be stuck with a rental... At this point I wanted to return the car because it wasn't even at the point of passing safety (check engine light was on while I was driving the 1st day). It was hazardous driving back home due to car going into limp mode. I also had a sour experience with the General Manager. I told him: "It is a bad experience for a customer to buy a brand new car, it comes with engine light problems and be stuck with a rental." GM dismissed me by saying, "You are not having a bad experience, you're having a bad day." 1. Having a finance manager demean you into buying his little packages 2. Car having EPS and Check Engine light come on 10 minutes driving off the lot 3. After waiting hours to get it fix, the technicians reset the errors saying it won't come back again 4. Drive back and waste more time and have to get a leaser that smells like fake strawberries. 5. Having to worry about a brand new car coming with problems and wasting my time ????? If you ever want to tell him about your bad experience, good luck. He will not care. No sympathy. I am going to post this message all over social media, and General Manager told me that he can't stop me and to go ahead. I am in process of submitting a complaint their corporate office and the general prime office. This dealership in Norwood is very shady and I am letting everyone that I know to not to go here. I hope you guys retrain this dealership to be more people-friendly (ha. is that even possible for a dealership to be a nice experience?). Oh and when I got my car back, it had a scratch on my leather seat that I had to buff out for 10 minutes. UPDATE 5/14/19: I have NOT received a follow up call yet ever since VW -norwood responded to this review. I have tried calling and there was no answer. Forgot to mention in the review. The General Manager told me. QUOTE "You're not having a bad experience. It's a bad experience when your engine falls out." Ridiculous people. Whenever I tell people this story, their eyes go wide :) More

I scheduled my service request online, a simple easy way to book my preferred appointment time. Upon driving up I was instantly greeted and sat with a service advisor to go over what type of service I needed. They shuttled me to and from my destination. The car repairs were fairly quick and they picked me up at my time of request. They are a friendly and professional Team of People. More
