If you want to be in the game these things in today's world are not only expected but required. Excellent service Boch Toyota Service is always fast and efficient. When you pull up, it's clearly signed where to take your car. Staff are ready to receive it and conf Boch Toyota Service is always fast and efficient. When you pull up, it's clearly signed where to take your car. Staff are ready to receive it and confirm details of your appointment. Waiting areas are spacious, and there's the added bonus of a quiet room, which I always use. If anything unexpected is found during the service, they always come and discuss their findings, what it will cost to fix and how long it will take. More
Poor customer service I posted this review last December. I'm posting it again for the public benefit. I have bought six vehicles, mostly new ones, from Boch Toyota So I posted this review last December. I'm posting it again for the public benefit. I have bought six vehicles, mostly new ones, from Boch Toyota South over the past 9 years. I had always returned because it was a pleasant experience and I was satisfied with the results. My latest experience was not pleasant and I am not satisfied. Here is a summary. On Nov 26 I placed a $500 deposit on a used Toyota to replace my previous vehicle which was totaled. I was not interested in financing. I explained that when my insurance company delivered the funds,I could pay the balance and take delivery. No time limit was mentioned. As always, they would take care of state inspection and registration. On Nov 30 I get a call from my sales person. He tells me the deal must be completed today because it's the end of the month. Huh? I am totally blindsided. I reminded him of the arrangement agreed on four days ago and I am still waiting for my insurance company (that's another sad story). On Dec 7 I called my sales person to let him know I will have the funds to close the deal on Dec 9. He says OK, no problem. Later that day I get a phone message from his boss saying we need to close this deal today or tomorrow, lots of people are asking about the car. Huh? Blindsided again. Unfortunately I didn't hear this message until the next day. Silly me, after my earlier conversation I was sure there was no problem and didn't check my messages. On Dec 8 I called again to ask what's up with your boss, why is one day such a big deal? He says it was a misunderstanding, his boss didn't know we had an agreement. Huh? On the phone message the boss said they were together as he spoke. On Dec 9 I paid the balance (which included $55 for state inspection) and took the vehicle; they will call when registration is complete. Silly me, I didn't remember that the registration must be complete before getting state inspection. And of course no one mentioned this to me. More on that later. On Dec 14 I get a call from my sales person. He tells me they can't complete the registration without a VIN # check and I have to come over there ASAP so they can do it. I am livid! We could have done this on Dec 9 when I picked up the car. His boss gets on the phone and says, hey we had to wait two weeks for you too - it works both ways. Really!? I always thought these "professionals" were supposed to do their job by taking care of these details for the customers. It doesn't work both ways. Very arrogant and condescending. On Dec 15 I used vacation time to leave work early and arrive at Boch Toyota by 2 PM so they can do the VIN check (the RI registry won't do it after 3 PM). A few days later I have to stop by again to pick up the registration. Again no one mentions the inspection. On Jan 12 I get mail from RI registry for failure to obtain an inspection sticker. Boch Toyota never got the inspection done even though I already paid for it and they had MANY chances to do it. On Jan 13 I called my sales person about the inspection. He was surprised that I didn't get it done yet. He says it's no problem, all I have to do is go get it done myself, bring the receipt to Boch Toyota and they will reimburse it. It took 10 minutes of explaining to make him understand that I already paid $55 to Boch Toyota for inspection and reimbursing me for a second payment doesn't recover that money. They finally arranged to get it done. I had to stop by after work AGAIN and they got it done. End of story. A very stressful and unpleasant experience. My loyalty to Boch Toyota South has ended. More

Service above and beyond what I expected Went in for repair of a tire which had a slow leak due to a nail. They also replaced the sensor, which I didn't realize was a problem (fortunately un Went in for repair of a tire which had a slow leak due to a nail. They also replaced the sensor, which I didn't realize was a problem (fortunately under warranty) and performed a complimentary interim inspection. I also needed a new battery for my remote key. Total bill $36. I am a happy camper! Ryan Traynor, the service advisor, was very helpful. I also always feel confident that my car is in excellent running order whenever I have it serviced at Boch Toyota South. More

However it was not the same case for the finance manager or whatever the title of the person who provided the purchase and sales agreement, title, etc... He was rude, sarcastic and was not helpful at all. You think a personality would be required for this position as you are dealing with people usually in the process of a takin on a large financial obligation. If it weren't for the dealerships pricing and the fact I already had a lot of time invested in the process, I would have walked away from the dealership. More
