I should have gone with the reviews posted and not gone to this dealer. We saw a car on Cargurus, drove 2 hours to see the car, test drove it, sat down to discuss what our trade-in was worth. They couldn to this dealer. We saw a car on Cargurus, drove 2 hours to see the car, test drove it, sat down to discuss what our trade-in was worth. They couldn't come up with a number. We told them what we thought it was worth, what we were willing to pay for the newer car. We had other cars to look at while we were in the neighborhood. We left with the understanding they would let us know what our trade-in was worth in an hour. We didn't hear, so I texted the salesman. At 4:23 PM, he said the car was available, I asked what was my trade-in worth. At 5 PM, I'm getting another text saying the car sold. What? It had been advertised for 2 months and all of sudden it's sold. Questionable. I called this morning, and it was available. It never sold. I have no idea why they told me it was sold. But, they lied repeatedly. Liars, scammer. I would highly recommend not working with them. Read the reviews, and avoid this dealership. More
sorry, I dont ever write reviews but in this case I have to. I picked three dealers to visit for a 2023 Corvette and the salesman was asking for 10K over invoice. UNREAL, especially when we told them two to. I picked three dealers to visit for a 2023 Corvette and the salesman was asking for 10K over invoice. UNREAL, especially when we told them two other dealers only charge MSRP. Needless to say we placed an order at MacMUlkins in NH. I found MacMulkins a Class act organization and the entire purchase took less than ten minutes. We also tried to buy two Honda CRVs and they wanted 7K over the invoice. AVOID THIS DEALERSHIP! We also found two other dealers that only charge MSRP but its too early to place an order for 2023 models. More
Purchased a 2022 traverse in December and were given a delivery date of Jan 5. That date was moved twice, and it's now mid April. After hundreds of hours speaking to reps at GM I was given numerous conf delivery date of Jan 5. That date was moved twice, and it's now mid April. After hundreds of hours speaking to reps at GM I was given numerous conflicting responses about where the vehicle was. Waiting for parts, ready to be delivered, in transit, it's sitting on the dealer lot, it's on a quality hold, etc. Eventually Mike told me he doesn't know when or if my vehicle will arrive and the only solution be offered was just purchase another one. After being pressured over and over again with either do this or don't get your vehicle I reapplied for a new loan, but Boch did absolutely nothing to rectify the situation. I don't suggest anyone shop here. More
Our experience at Boch Chevy couldn’t have been any worse. I emailed to check if a truck we were interested in was there and was told it was. We drove about an hour and a half to see it. When we got th worse. I emailed to check if a truck we were interested in was there and was told it was. We drove about an hour and a half to see it. When we got there they acted like it was a surprise that we were there to see this truck. After about 15 minutes of our salesman standing at the front desk we were told they couldn’t find the keys so it must have sold. We told them what our budget was, the salesman said they had plenty of other trucks on the lot so we took a walk. They did not have a single other truck on the lot that had similar miles and price point. He told us that they would value our trade and see how the numbers worked out. The numbers were no where near what we said our budget was. Every time we said no this won’t work and we wanted to leave he would go stand at the front desk for 5-10 minutes . They still held our keys at the desk up front. Then he tells us that they maybe have a truck that might work for us at a different location but they would need us to leave a deposit on it to get it there. I said no we are not putting money on a credit card for a truck we have never seen. After 3 hours we finally were given our keys back, it felt like we were being held hostage. This was the biggest waste of 3 hours. After this experience we will never shop at a Boch dealership again. We ended up at a Herb Chambers dealership where we were treated with courtesy and respect, we ended up giving them our business. More
I recently purchased a vehicle from Boch Chevy of Norwood, and to say my experience with this dealership was awful would be an understatement. On 10/24/21 I purchased a 2020 Chevy Tahoe and when I we Norwood, and to say my experience with this dealership was awful would be an understatement. On 10/24/21 I purchased a 2020 Chevy Tahoe and when I went to look at the Tahoe it was down pouring, so standing outside inspecting every inch of the vehicle was not an option. My sale person Nabil Salib was more interested in showing me all his reviews that he had in binder than he was in talking about the Tahoe. Once we decided we wanted to purchase the vehicle, we were then told we had to pay for them to do the plates and title, we couldn’t use our insurance company and when we said we wanted to use our bank for financing, they told us they wouldn’t sell us the Tahoe if we didn’t finance with them. With this Tahoe being the closest one to new that we could find, we just went along with their demands and purchased it. Within days of bringing the Tahoe home we started finding multiple issues. When we brought the Tahoe back for them to look at it, they told me that the issues where there when they sold us the Tahoe and it would not be under warranty and if we took it like that, we own it now. I would think if you paid $60,000 for a 2020 being listed as a Certified Chevy in excellent condition, that is not the response you would get from the sales manager Atef Rhouma. I will never buy from this dealership again and will get my service done at another Chevy dealership and I definitely would not recommend Bock Chevrolet of Norwood to anyone I know. If you have any respect for yourself and your money, do not buy a car from these sleazy snake charmers. I recently went in twice to check out a used Jeep Boch had for sale. This was my second/third time vi not buy a car from these sleazy snake charmers. I recently went in twice to check out a used Jeep Boch had for sale. This was my second/third time visiting (went close to closing time), and everyone had been relatively friendly (and incredibly thirsty for business). We went back and forth on my trade value - which we agreed upon a certain amount several times verbally and on initial paper. After the test ride, all things being equal, being told I would get X for my trade-in, and decided it may be a fair deal and to trade in my vehicle. The finance individual I worked with was insufferable - I've seen better personalities from inanimate objects. None of the figures were explained to me beyond the nonsense warranties, and paperwork was pushed on me impatiently because it was getting late. The deal entailed that I would come back in the morning to give them a check for a down payment and start the process of registration/delivery. This is where it gets sleazy/unprofessional... I looked at the paperwork a second time in the AM. The trade value on my vehicle was lowered $1,000 less than what we had discussed and buried within the paperwork. When I approached the sales manager in the morning, check in hand, he insisted that "I said I only wanted to get the payment under a certain amount" - this is not true. The previous day he managed to get me to sign a paper with a range of payments, but not present in the paperwork (which he would not let me see in hand until the morning) was the lowered trade value. I was berated and told to turn around and walk out if I didn't want to do the deal (we already filled out paperwork) - so, I turned around and walked out. Moral of the story: (a) they will be nice to you and make you seem like they are eager to make a deal; (b) they will use creative interpretation of things you mention; (c) they will change the terms of the deal without you knowing and hope you don't notice until after you hand them a check - DON'T BELIEVE WHAT ANYONE SAYS, THIS IS A SCAM TO EXTORT MORE MONEY OUT OF YOU AT THE LAST MINUTE. Do not - I repeat DO NOT - do business with Boch Chevrolet. I cannot speak to other Boch dealerships, but these people are wolves in sheep's clothing. More
Bait and Switch on a car we scheduled an appointment to see. Even calling and texting to confirm the next morning. We come to see the car, can’t find it on the lot, Alex comes back 10 minutes later and say see. Even calling and texting to confirm the next morning. We come to see the car, can’t find it on the lot, Alex comes back 10 minutes later and says it was “sold last night” which was a blatant lie because the car “was there” at closing time. Shady tactics and I’ll NEVER let a friend or family member do business with them. I belong to many car forums and will spread the word as I already have been. More
